As a streamer/content creator, I had a 150$ mic that wasn't cutting it. Tried tuning and software and not sure why it was recommended to me. In search of a better mic I was recommended this one from a streamer friend. I was hesitant at the price thinking its cheap and no way better than what I had. We'll I was wrong, this mic excels and sounds perfect to what I needed. Its crisp, clear, blocks noise out so naturally and is easy to work with. This mic is worth double or more in value. Do not sleep on this brand, they are definitely showing you that quality still exist at an affordable price. Hands down am recommending this mic to all my friends!

Big fan of this mic - sounds great, doesn't break the bank and I like the rgb effects - looks cool! Company support has also been awesome - I reached out because I started having issues with the ring mount (over a year after I originally purchased) and they took good care of me to help me get a replacement.

Coming from a fifine 40$ mic that i bought years ago, for the $75 I paid when it wasn’t on sale was a great deal. It sounds full and clearer then my other usb mic and my friends could instantly tell a difference. *important note: if your XLR this mic the program does not work nor does the headset feedback, these are usb only features* It has option for XLR, which I will be trying out in the future with fifins new XLR interface, But for USB it’s more then enough for even a YouTuber with some adjusting. I do use this for my own videos and it’s sound clarity and quality is above its price point. Also it’s recommended to talk into the top of the mix not the sides. The way this capsule is designed your best sound quality is from the top. The program works well and isn’t sloppy like I thought it would be. It’s well put together with intuitive design and lay outs. You can mute your mic, Change your RgB color and brightness form it and even have advanced options for mic sound adjustment like EQ (tip: they don’t work that well your better off leaving it alone). The mute button feels good and is clicky but not cheap clicky , it feels premium. Cons: The RGb button on the bottom of the mic is hard to press in to activate and it’s in a weird spot so I’d recommend using the program for the mic which you can also adjust all rgb settings like color and brightness within it. The “gains” dial on the mic is also pretty “meh” with no Phyisical markings on it so it’s hard to tell how much gain your at. I’d recommend messing with your “gain” setting in the program as well. In fact I recommend using this mic pretty much entirely off the app itself and not the mic itself. A negative about the mic is when you turn your computer off your rgb stays on so you’ll need to use the button or turn it off in the app before turning off your computer. The ring that holds the mic does feel cheap. the mic itself feels and looks premium but the ring is this ugly glossy plastic that looks like it’s where a lot of the cost cutting was at. The last con is the buttons and dials on the mic. Your RGb is on the bottom which you can’t get to and your gain and mute button become impossible to see when your talking into the top of the mic. This is a preference thing but just be mindful of this when your pick out your mics, with this one you’ll have a hard time controlling it from the mic if your not using an XLR or the app to control its settings which seems like how it was mostly intended to be used anyways.

i use the xlr cable and an audio interface with this microphone and it sounds amazing. i receive endless compliments! :) after having it for a year there hasn’t been an issue with the shock mount breaking. it’s definitely an affordable purchase if you’re starting out with xlr and audio interfaces.

I’ve been using this same microphone for 2 years. I’ll probably never get another brand! This is truly the biggest bang for your buck that I’ve encountered trying to find an affordable but high quality microphone. It is so crisp and does an amazing job at noise compression. No one can hear the air blowing, chewing, not anything besides when you speak. So if you are in search for an affordable streaming microphone, or just a microphone you want to use to talk to your friends… TRUST MEEEE, you will not get bullied about having a “Dollar General” mic hahaha. The mic is a perfect fit. When I bought it, setup was easy and the sound quality was magnificent. It didn’t pick up any background noise. My voice could crisp and clear. The price is awesome for the package you’re getting. The quality of the mic is amazing. I would 100% recommend this microphone to anyone The one thing that is wrong is the shock mount. I’ve had the mic for months and I had no problems. So then just one day after I went to sleep i came back to my set up to see a broken shock mount. The great people at maono support got right back to me in a few hours and they aggre to send a replacement so the total build quality is great it’s only the shock mount. I would just say be careful.

Decided to replace my hyperx quadcast, looked at the shure mv7 but saw a review of this pitted against the shure and others and thought for the price it looked very good, so decided to tey it. Im so glad i did. Sound quity is superb. Plug and play compatibility is easy to set uo. Quality if the mic is good. Wierd getting used to talking into the front top of it as my last one was all over pick up. Weight wise its not heavy and well built. Rgb looks cool and if its too bright you can turn it down in the maono link software. Overall im very happy with my purchase and never heard of this comoany before but happy i took the chance. Ive had expensive mics before and have to say sound quality is up there for sure even though its on a budget. Well worth considering if you want a good looking quality stand alone mic

I bought a Rode first, which was dead on arrival. I bought it because I doubted this cheaper one would be any good. I then bought this instead, and it turned out to be very good. I should have believed the reviews here on Amazon instead of what people wrote on various forums about Rode being so much better. Unless you're recording for a professional music studio or something this is all you'll ever need.
