I love Smallrig kit: light, dependable and great value for money. These clamps are no exception with a wide range of jaw capacity and an extremely secure attachment. I've used these for many challenging filming jobs the toughest of which was to use a pair of clamps to attach a camera and a flood light to the front of an Underground loco to film a driver's eye view. Cable ties for safety but the clamps remained tight and secure during 90 minutes of filming. Given the harshness of the ride this was very impressive. I've used these many times along with the Smallrig magic arm to solve problems with lighting or action camera mounting for TV shoots. Great quality, beautifully engineered, these clamps are in my day carry filming bag forever.

Quality seems good, grips well, happy with this product

These work as expected but I haven't used them half as much as I thought I would. I bought them with the smallrig adjustable arms and mostly use them by screwing accessories into my camera. These end up being used for holding small items such as products that i'm shooting. They are pretty heavy if you're expecting to use them on a camera rig. the grip on them is pretty good, they clamp pretty strong. They have a couple of mounting points and they are versatile because of that. They are useful to have in the kit. I've used them to hold up a zoom mic to a light stand and they grip well enough for that.

These are very well engineered clamps and they hold strong all night long! I used them on a DJ booth to hold RGB tube lights and they stayed in place. They are very well finished, no sharp edges and the threads are great so no stiffness in the screw. Rubber inside the clamps help grip. Highly recommended.

Solid and practical great value

These feel solid, well built, and have a good amount of clamp force. Sometimes I just like to hold them and fidget with them. Not sure what I'm going to use them for now, since I decided to not go ahead with the use I originally had for them. I have a weakness for buying useful gizmos. Even though they're sitting around doing nothing now, I still don't regret buying them, because they'll solve one or more problems some day. Small devices that I can use to clamp anything, even if it doesn't involve camera equipment. I had previously bought the other version of this that comes with a mount, and I like that one too... I was hoping these clamps would be the same as the one I got in that kit, and they are identical. So I got what I wanted.

Quality is there, very nice finish on the materials, like the rubber part, sharp looking and I was surprised how the thing is actually small which I also like. Does what it's advertised, I am very satisfied.
