I have found that this issue can be corrected by doing two things. 1) wash the supply pitcher thoroughly inside and out. When the pitcher gets dirty outside it does not seem to mount properly. 2) the grease the supply pitcher coupling to the RO unit gets used or dried up. Add some food safe mineral oil, bees wax, or dow corning 111 to refresh (this is what was supplied on the pitcher grommet when it was new); then the pitcher should mount properly. If the light is fixed yellow then it either means that the filtering cycle is over or you have not supplied enough water. The only thing that concerned me a bit was that the filters were kind of loosely packaged and able to roll around within the box they were shipped in. They don't seem to have sustained any damage, however, and seem to be working just fine in my RKIN countertop reverse osmosis water filtration system. TO REMOVE, TURN THEM SO THE LETTERING ON THE FILTER MOVES TO THE LEFT (clockwise!).The post filter (smaller white filter): YOU NEED TWO PEOPLE… There’s an indented white DOT on the oval ring which is seated on top of the COLORED ring on each end of the filter. One person carefully presses on that dot with a very small phillips screwdriver while the other person tugs on the hose/plug until it slips off.
