This is a great album from start to finish. From the opening thunder of drums on the opening track right through to the epic closing track. This is the version with the 3 bonus tracks (BBC Friday Rock Show 1983) If ya love NWOBHM then this will be to your liking 🤘

A true NWOBHM masterpiece. Just essential.

それなりにメロディアスで曲は悪くなく、 マイナーNWOBHMのチープな音ともっさい味が楽しめる人なら普通に良いアルバムです。 が、何をおいても印象的なのがタイトル曲。 怪しげなコーラスから一転して疾走、 そして鳴り響く邪悪なサビ「エコエコゥ! アザラクッ! エコエコゥ! サバラクッ!」。 終盤にここぞと吼える獣といい、素晴らしいB級っぷりです。

This band, like so many european bands of the day, are more or less forgotten by all but the most rabid metal freaks. Too bad. Cloven Hoof weren't truly innovative, but they weren't slavish clones either and what they did, they did with aplomb. This is a dark, melodic little 80's metal gem with plenty of atmosphere and character. Arguably, this is an early influence on Black Metal as well, given the occult fixation of the lyrics. If you are a fan of british metal along the lines of Angel Witch, Diamond Head or Witchfynde, you really should make an effort to experience this album. Some will say I'm mad, but I love the cover art and band photos as well (remember this was released around 1983).
