I guess I ordered the incorrect item for my need.  I wanted a fireproof mat in front of my fireplace to protect the Portuguese limestone the fireplace stands on.  The pad is not appropriate as it is just a fireproof cloth and obviously flimsy and not stable on the floor it is trying to protect.  I expected it to be more robust and to spend £30 on a bit of material has been pretty much a waste of money.  Disappointed even though it has been my fault.

Disappointing product in both appearance and potential functionality, highly expensive for what is effectively a tea cloth.  I have doubts whether the product is a genuine FireMat fireproof product or just a cheap copy. Arrived in a cheap clear cellophane bag, no information and tatty from the outset. I would not recommend this product or seller.

Nachdem ich die Matte ursprünglich zurücksenden wollt, da ich vom Material nicht so ganz überzeugt war, hab ich sie dann dich ausprobiert.Ich muss gestehen, sie ist super!Beim Braten bzw. Anbraten verwende ich sie nun grundsätzlich. Was soll ich sagen - kein verschmutzter Herd und das garen funktioniert genauso schnell wie ohne Matte.Ich kann sie nur weiterempfehlen.
