The item is what I needed.

The book is very functional, but you may need to crease the pages well, to keep the book open during your games. If that annoys you, you might want to spend a bit more for a spiral bound version; or use loose pages and copy them into the book later.

My child is using these at home to track his progress. He is new to tournaments and these are a way to track where he needs to focus

Perfect for those who are tracking their competition moves and their challengers moves. Very nice to have so you can retrace your thinking behind your strategy.

This is perfectly fine, there's space for 100 moves for a game which is plenty. My only complaint is the lack of a checkered board template to log the finishing positions at the end of a game.

My kids started learning Chess Annotation using this book. Good for those who are starting or already a pro in chess.
