Ferns Hot Curry Paste, 380 g

I was recommended Ferns Curry Paste 40 years ago and have been using them since then. It has been getting more difficult in my area to purchase this brand but now I can get it online it's great. I had been trying to get Ferns Madras paste but it was 'unavailable' and this Hot Paste came up as an alternative option. Very similiar to the Madras paste this Hot paste has a rich flavour and "use" the advised amounts - 3 teaspoons - in your dish. Best to start with a small amount because you can always add more to your personal taste. It is hot but not that unpleasant bitter curry taste you sometimes get in other brands and gives a authentic taste to your home made curries. This paste can be used with all meats and vegetables and is a great spice to add to all your Asian dishes you cook at home. I love it and so does my husband, I bought 2 jars, one for my Mum and one for me, but as you need so little to add to your dish it will last for ages in the fridge.

Been using this brand of curry paste for years. Lovely flavour if its to hot use the mild one. For some unknown reason its not as available as it used to be, hence having to pay the Amazon price, but still worth it

Add to Scotch broth to make a nice curry base. Add a little Dragon’s Blood for heat.

bit pricey but does make a nice curry I use it with a base curry never thought ide say it but it beats pataks curry paste

You only need a little for each meal so the jar so far has done 2 x meals for 4 and over half left, really great taste and will be buying again. Currys are nice and spicy using this.

Used this for many years for normal and slow cooking curries, lovely flavour and spicy and hot too. Combined with other strong ingredients, original curry flavour still comes through. Awesome paste from India. Highly recommend.

OMG, this is so easy to use, just add a teaspoon or two to some leftover chicken, add some onion, peppers and a couple of chopped fresh tomatoes a sprinkle of chopped coriander & you have the most delicious & fast curry. Everything else has been done for you!! It vaguely resembles a decent vindaloo & that is in no way a derogatory remark. This is a cupboard staple in many households in India & Asia. I love it, & recently I have found it only available in online stores.
