This startech IDE-SATA worked fine, put the jumper to slave by putting the clip on the slave pins, it picked up my 2TB Seagate HDD without issue when I checked in the chimp software. I also got a longer 40-pin 80 wire ribbon (60cm) which was easier to channel within the xbox. (I used the chimp software to copy eeprom/original HDD to the new one and create E, F & G partition. Then I had to use xbpartitioner to make those partitions visible. Split the HDD between F & G, first formatted it with a megabyte less than given. Then formatted it again with all the available megabytes, this worked. Also set to 64mb cluster.
