Comparison to "Signature"
This is a very good pair of jeans at a fabulous price. Excellent value! The material is full weight, the coloring is dense, the stitching solid, and the fit suits me just fine - enough room but not baggy. In comparison to the "Signature" line of a top brand you will find these differences: --- Rustler has no brass rivets at pocket corners. These probably are not necessary, but they add desirable variation to the sea of blue. Rustler also lacks an exterior block label on the belt chase. Rustler's zipper is the same weight as Signature's, and extends half an inch lower. This is a big deal. Rustler's front pockets are smaller than Signature's. The back pockets of the two are equivalent. Rustler has six belt loops, Signature has only five. --- So there are some pros and cons there, but taken en toto, Rustler is definitely giving Signature a run for the money, and that's even before you consider the price difference. On a more precise scale I would give these pants a 4.5 and say WELL DONE to the company!

Rustler Men’s Classic Regular Fit Jeans
I got a pair of Rustler Men’s Classic Regular Fit Jeans and they’re exactly what they claim to be: no-frills, solid, everyday jeans that aim to do their job — and mostly succeed. They feel sturdy and dependable, the kind of denim that isn’t trying to win a fashion contest — it’s just trying to survive a workday, a Saturday of yard-work, or anything in between. The regular cut sits comfortably at the natural waist and leaves room to move without feeling like cowboy cutoffs or tight city jeans. If you’re after flair, these won’t win style points. But if you want something low-effort, durable, and cheap enough to not sweat after a few rough days — then these are a quietly solid choice.

Good product, they look really good on
Great fit, looks good on my husband and son. I am not sure why they are asking about smell of the jeans, is this before or after they have been worn? Durability, i would say so far so good. Material thickness, they are not so heavy they hang off my son or husband. Yet not so thin they feel the cold.

Cheapest Real New Jeans I Could Find Online
These do shrink about an inch in the waist after washing and drying on hot, which is fine because then you know it's real cotton. The weight is impressive and is the same as expected of real jeans designed to be worked in with hard manual labor. The weak point is the belt loops, which are flimsy feeling from the get-go you will notice right away and yes they do rip off easily if you pull too hard on them (I better learn how to sew, probably easier with a machine), if that bothers you especially if you use suspenders that might pull suddenly from side to side or something similar then I suggest you reinforce the belt loops yourself. But I'm not mad about that, it's just annoying sometimes now that my belt doesn't keep one side of my pants up all the time (not the entire side, just the place that 1 belt loop got ripped up at, the belt loop is still attached on 1 end (just haven't gotten around to sewing it back on) even after continual wearing and washings). The best part about these pants is, after trying on multiple other pants from amazon at similar prices: these are hands down the thickest, most breathable, most durable, and the best fit: they don't ride-up, they don't grab the crotch or butt, there aren't any frayed threads, they don't fall apart, the pockets are nice and deep the right size jeans pockets should be, and the they aren't too loose but just loose enough to move around in. This makes them ideal for working in, which contrary to popular belief, doesn't result in a skin-tight look (Women who aren't Ladies, you got no excuse, you know what you're doing, anything that shows off your figure is just you playing around to get looked at and you ain't going to be doing any real work in those, honestly finding good cheap work jeans for Women is difficult so you're better off wearing a pair of these). Just remember Men and possibly Women looking to buy a pair of these: go two sizes up and wear a belt (suspenders if you reinforce the belt loops yourself), start with your size (mine is 30), then go up for when you get full of food (31 for me), then go up one more size (32 for me) to account for the shrinkage after drying these on hot (if you're doing any real work in these you're going to get them dirty enough to want to wash on hot and dry on hot). I learned this after one pair become uncomfortably small. Also measure your own inseam length (distance from your crotch to floor along one of your legs and make sure to go up a size on that to to account for heat shrinkage), I have very short legs so I always have to roll mine up regardless (size 29-30 inseam for me), but don't worry if you wear these over boots (which you should be if you're doing any real work in these) they'll sit on top of the boots at the ankle level without sagging to the floor like some other pants.

Great value
These jeans were a great price and fit perfectly. They seem to be quality made and get better after a few washes. Very happy with them.

Black Jeans
Looking for tighter jeans for my husband. These fit well but still big in the thigh. He is 44 waist 30 length. We will keep. Nice material and price.

Durable, overall quality and still so affordable
Both of us often wore jeans growing up. As we grew older, jeans were the best choice for us on the job. We've been retired for years now and live in a rural area where we do a lot of work outside. So jeans are still our go to most days. The more popular brands have always been too pricey for us. We have been wearing Rustler jeans for 50 years now. As a rule, the quality is consistent and the price is very affordable. If you order a pair, or take one of the shelf, our experience has been you can be assured the size is consistent, even though you might not have tried them on before buying. A brand new stone wash pair of Rustlers is as comfortable as an old pair of stone wash Rustlers. No break in period needed. I think the darker jeans do require a break in period and they can fit a little snugger. The only quality control issue we have run into, is occasionally the button hole on the waist band, is a bit small for the button to easily fit through. But this is a rare occasion. These are every bit as good as their expensive counterpart. So, it's up to you but for us, they have been a reliable and durable option for half a century. The bottom line is, we love these.
