And it takes time. Put at least 30 minutes aside and don't rush.Step1: Remove the iPad from the case (if you have one)Step 2: Without removing the "back" film, position the screen protector on the iPad and get it perfectly positioned with respect to the Home button and the edgesStep 3: Get 4 strips of sellotape. On one vertical side put the 4 pieces of tape on the front of the screen protector equally spacedStep 4: Ensuring the screen protector is still perfectly positioned, wrap the tape around the back of the iPad. You have now just “hinged” the screen protector. Double check it "opens and shuts" perfectly and falls on the iPad in the perfect position. Re-position if it does not. When perfect, hinge it open. You can now clean the iPad screen.Step 5a: Cleaning. MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN A DUST FREE CALM ENVIRONMENT. Use the supplied wet wipe, dry wipe and then little microfiber cloth. Use a powerful torch (LED ones are ideal) to scan the surface of the iPad to ensure there are no smears.Step 5b: Cleaning - dust particles. Using the supplied tape systematically (go across the iPad, bottom to top – don’t miss a millimeter!) to remove ALL dust particles. Again use a powerful torch to highlight dust. Keep going until every bit of tiny dust has gone.Step 6: Double check - have you really removed all dust? If not, start again with the sticky tape.Step 7: Be brave! Remove the back of the screen protector. DO NOT TOUCH THE BACK OF THE SCREEN PROTECTOR. Now carefully hinge the screen protector on to the perfectly clean and dust free iPad. Positioning should be perfectStep 8: Press the screen protector in the middle of the iPad and watch it "spread" and adhere to the iPad like magic.Step 9: You may find there are some air pockets. Don't worry. Just use the microfiber cloth to push/slide/tease them to the nearest edge.Step 10: All should be perfect now and you will feel like a hero! All you need to do now is clean the front to get rid of finger prints etc.Well done!If you don't do the above, you will think the screen protector is rubbish and give it 1 star. As it is made of glass I could see the virtue in this and decided to take the plunge. How glad am I! It looks like a thicker laminate when you remove it from the packaging but that extra rigidity means that placing it is a piece of cake and when I dropped it on the screen and reached for a cloth to chase out the bubbles I discovered that the extra weight and said stiffness removed all the air completely, meaning I just had to ensure the edges were firmly in place and use the cloth to polish off my fingerprints. Painless. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Screen Protector *by J***G on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 April 2016* Having experienced the problems with air bubbles on my iphone and standard ipad covers, I was curious as to whether this 'glass' cover would really work. First off, it feels more like thicker grade plastic but the real revelation comes when you place it onto the screen. You can see the air being pushed out by the cover adhering to the screen. Ok there were 2 small bubbles left but that was probably down to me not cleaning the screen thoroughly.
