Revolutionize Your projects with this Self-Levelling Magic!
I recently had the opportunity to try out a self-levelling compound during a garden renovation project, and I must say, it has completely transformed the way I look at concreting. This remarkable product has not only saved me time but has also ensured a flawlessly smooth and level surface for my ongoing garden project. One of the standout features of self-levelling compound is its simplicity. I am an avid DIY-er, but this is perfect even for someone with minimal DIY experience, the application process was a breeze. Just mix the compound according to the instructions, pour it into your mould, and watch it work its magic. The self-levelling properties ensure that it spreads evenly and fills in any imperfections. As you will see from the photos, I have created a baseline border in the garden, and am still working on raising the other slabs to meet it. (Due to old brickwork, it needed levelling out, so this compound was perfect) The photo where the metal foot/stand is, was a gap that I could not find the right sized slabs for. So I used the above compound, added a colorant, and hey presto! Gap filled. You will also see I used it to even out a step, where I will later place a planter Would highly recommend it and have infact bought many of these bags for various other projects.

Fantastic company to deal with
Fantastic company to deal with. The delivery and customer care is the best I've ever had. And the compound itself is really good quality and easy to use. My only tip would be, to be organised and work fast as you've only got about 15 - 20 minutes before the compound starts to harden. But all in all great price, great delivery, great company to deal with and great results.

Great product, easy to use and cheap.
This is the cheapest levelling compound I have found. Arrived quickly. I followed the instructions on the pack exactly, and mixed it with water by hand quite easily (using a trowel and wearing gloves -- it is best to keep any cement type product away from skin). It worked perfectly. No smell. Set in an hour or two. I have tried levelling floors before and had trouble with the mix not being the right consistency so it didn't flow properly. But this time, with this product, I took care to measure the water and compound precisely, and prepare the floor as instructed, and it was fine. Of course I did not order enough, so I have just ordered some more bags to complete the job. Photo shows my kitchen floor half done. I'd recommend this product. UPDATE NOV 2014. I have removed one star from the rating because after a couple of weeks the floor now resembles crazy-paving. There are cracks everywhere. This happened over a weekend, about two weeks after the levelling compound was applied. The cracks do not affect my application (I am putting laminate down), but obviously something is not quite right (despite me following instructions exactly).

Very pleased
Very quick delivery. Product as described and very good price. I knew it would be a pain to mix, but it has gone down better than my previous experience with self levelling compound some years ago. I should have got a paddle to mix it which would make the process easier. Overall very pleased."

Flat as a pancake
I have been renovating a bathroom in a bungalow, so a concrete floor. On removal of the old bath I found that the floor level differed from one side of the room to the other by over 5 cm, problem. As I am not a trained bricklayer I was not confident that I could lay a base that could subsequently take a laminate floor covering. This product solved the problem and then some. Calculating how much you need is the biggest hurdle to overcome, so ere on the generous side. Mix it up pour it on, help spread it a little and pay attention to where the old and new meet. Under do it the first time as this will give you some idea of how much you will need. After a suitable drying time and mixing in the same proportions you should be able to estimate how much you need to finish the job. Follow the same procedure and let it dry. Result flat floor, sorted.

Self lumping compound
I used this to level a 30m2 room. It was a nightmare. It took several days of hard labour to get a mediocre result. If you are a DIYer and have not used this stuff before - stop! Get an expert to do it for you. First off: this stuff is not 'self levelling'. Runny, yes, but not self levelling. 'Self lumping' might be a better description. You can't just mix, pour and congratulate yourself. If you are masochistic enough to insist on doing it yourself then do a small room first to get the hang of it. I found that treating it like regular concrete worked best, using a 1.8m rule to spread the stuff out flat. After I'd done most of the job I found that the cheapo plastic measuring jug I used to add precisely the correct amount of water was actually giving me 4% less than indicated. So, double check whatever you use to measure the water. This probably accounts for a lot of the grief I had with this stuff. Concentrate on the edges because they are the bits you'll notice when you put the skirting on and you find a wavy gap underneath it. This cost me £103 and a lot of grief. We had a quote for £300 for a professional job. Wish I'd gone for it! I can't fault the supplier, and the product if probably fine in the right hands but this is one of those jobs that does require experience.

very good product but it does have a bad smell prior to mixing
This is a very good product and doe the job well. Only reservation is that it has a very strong odour when in powder form only. The odour goes once it is mixed with water. You will need a very good mask
