Just the job
I haven't used my camera for about 6 years-depending on my iphone/partner's camera, because I lost the USB cable to download the photos, but now I can! Works perfectly well, great value, very quick delivery, happy customer. I have a u700 Olympus, obviously old but still good enough for me!

Durability is Key
The highest accolade I can accord this product is to testify to its apparent longevity. To briefly explain, I have been through a number of these, purchased from various sources, and in every case hitherto they have proved to have a 'life'. Furthermore, when the first one breaks on you it says nothing of its pain. It keeps stoically silent while you descend into madness, left clueless because your pictures won't upload, your PC refuses to admit you even have a camera, and the accusing crowds of unpictured relatives gather. Now I know. Forget all the things your computer tells you are wrong and just get (yet another) USB cable. I got this one some time ago. It still works.

A standard USB-C cable, not Olympus
The USB was stated as being for an Olympus OM-2 camera. When it arrived, I found it to be a standard USB-C cable. As I was charged nearly £15.00, I returned it for a refund, because you can get a decent USB-C for about £5.00.

No good at all.
This lead won't work properly with the Olympus OMD series. The camera may detect it is plugged in but it refuses to use it when attempting to download photos or update your firmware. I had to buy the official lead from Olympus before I could do either of those operations. This was a waste of money for me.

Works on PC but not Smartphone
Can't complain about the ordering and delivery, they were very good, unfortunately the cable didn't work when connected to my Samsung smartphone which was why I bought it. Connecting my camera (Olympus TG-830) it flashes up a quick recognition of the connection on my Smartphone but doesn't recognize any files on the camera. Seems to work ok when connected to my PC.
