One of the Best
This is a FANTASTIC case. I take my Steam Deck to work and play on my lunch breaks. I have a relatively small bag, so the full Valve case didn't fit. However, with this case it fits PERFECTLY! With the front cover, it protects it well and I don't have to worry about the screen getting scratched. All the moddable attachments are also really nice to have for an external battery, etc. The stand works super well, very sturdy with no flex what do ever. 8 also have the JSAUX dock that I use at home, and the steam deck still fits in there perfectly with this case on. The grips where you hold the steam deck are very comfortable and don't let it slide out of your hands. Pulling off the front cover is a bit tough, I do wish there was an easier way to detach rather than peeling it off aggressively everytime. But putting the cover on is a piece of cake, the fits are perfect when closing it up. It's relatively thick, which I like. I have not dropped it so I can't really comment on how well it'd protect a dro. I have no complaints what so ever, it is absolutely worth the money!

Great Case and Great Support!
I'm not exactly rough with my electronics, but when I decided to get a Steam Deck, I bought this as well and installed it the first day I got my Deck. I wanted to protect the corners in case I'd bump something as I moved it around in my hands, but mostly I got it so I could use the attachments and for the protective cover for easy travelling. I also have a dog and cat, so I wanted something to protect the screen if I laid it down, and the plastic cover works perfectly for that! It feels good in the hands. The edge of the case where the palms rest do NOT dig into my palms, and I have pretty sensitive hands. I also LOVE the kickstand. Not only does it prop the system up well and feels sturdy, but when I'm playing games in bed or have a blanket on my lap while playing, I open the kickstand a bit because it's over the fan intake for the Deck. With the kickstand open, it pushes any blankets or pillows AWAY from the intake, letting fresh air in. It's a nice, unintended feature! When I first got it, I would open the kickstand and balance the deck on my desk while I held it to steady it while playing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS! I ended up breaking the kickstand doing this. It was not meant to hold THAT much weight at THAT angle. HOWEVER, I reached out to JSAUX support, explained what happened, and they quickly sent me a replacement kickstand accessory for free! Very quick to respond and act! PROS: -Decent protection -Compact and simple travel protection with the cover, though I wouldn't trust it rattling around in a suitcase or bag. -Great accessories, including the kickstand! CONS: -Don't know how much it will protect from drops or hard hits. -The front cover doesn't protect the power button from being pressed. This COULD be dangerous, because it does cover the exhaust vent. So if you accidentally turn it on and you were in a game, it might cook a bit. TL;DR: Feels good and they have great customer service. Good for daily protections, but not intended for protecting inside luggage or a bag.

Protective and Practical Steam Deck Case
This case provides excellent protection for the Steam Deck while maintaining easy access to buttons and ports. The sturdy construction helps prevent scratches, bumps, and everyday wear. The design is sleek and functional, with a secure fit that feels tailored to the device. It’s lightweight, easy to install, and doesn’t interfere with gameplay or handling. Overall, a high-quality, reliable, and practical protective case. Highly recommended for Steam Deck owners looking to keep their device safe and stylish.

Another high quality product from JSAUX that feels essential for the Steam Deck
This is a great product that works as both a protector for your Steam Deck and a solid travel case. The built in kick-stand is of high quality and feels sturdy. The entire product feels good, was easy to put onto the device and has great feel in the hands, with the grips adding much needed texture that the original Steam Deck device did not seem to have. I can't imagine playing my Deck without this on it now. The cover is great because it's got a soft backing that protects your screen. It's dense plastic material that could withstand some small impact, but I wouldn't go testing dropping anything super heavy on this thing. I used this case to travel with my Deck and it was perfect. One thing to note is that the cover feels like it's difficult to take off, and that is normal. I think that will initially scare people that they have to use some amount of force to remove the cover, but don't worry. It is easy to put back on and stays secure and in place when on. It does not fully block the top vents either, and allows you to continue charging the device with the cover on if you want. Highly recommend every new Steam Deck owner buy this ASAP.

Perfect for my traveling job.
.I'm mad I didn't look sooner. The wrap around case itself adds a lot of security in the grip of the steam deck without being super intrusive. It's a very firm soft plastic, I think. The texture on the grips is great. Overall, the case doesn't inhibit anything about the deck. The ports and vents are unobstructed. The power and volume buttons are covered but maintain their tactile feedback. The kickstand feels strong enough. Time will tell. The cover fits snugly. It requires some force to take off, but then you can rest assured it won't come off in a bag. There is padding against the screen as well. Only slight negatives. It does require a bit of effort to install and remove the body. Put the bottom in first and out last so that you're working it on and off from the top. Just be careful of the triggers and shoulder buttons. Also, the rear buttons are shielded, which is good for protection. But with my big hands, it's slightly harder to get at them. But I honestly think I'll just get used it fast work that none of this is worth a star. It's products like this that make me thankful for Amazon. Edit: despite all my positive statements below, there is one serious problem with this case. It covers the exhaust vent while NOT covering the power button with the hard cover in place. I've now had this thing inexplicably overheat with the case on twice. In general, I'd recommend being very careful about putting this thing in any case in sleep mode because it seems to inexplicably decide to generate heat and use the fan. Twice now, I've come back to my supposedly sleeping steam deck, sitting on a table with the shrill whisper of the fan trying to move air and my SD super hot. This resulted in an overheated failed start state requiring me to take the deck's back cover off and disconnect the battery, again... twice. It has only happened when I've had the JSAUX front cover on in sleep state. I would give this thing a lower score, but it's generally a very nice case and I wouldn't use anything else. But now I think I'm going to actually drill holes into the cover to prevent blockage of the exhaust.

Just a Dope product, also inexpensive
Love this product. Provides great protection, ergonomics, functionality, and just looks freaking cool. It’s an added bonus for being inexpensive compared to other competitors, while still feeling premium. It was super easy to install as advised. It does make the Steam Deck feel heavier, but i like that, it makes me feel like I have more control when I'm playing and sturdier. The fan is great at keeping it cool when playing AAA titles I was able to get maybe an extra hour+ on BG3. The fan is louder than the onboard fan but if your playing while family is watching tv, talking, or have your volume on 2/5 higher than off, you wont notice or care. The power-bank holder is cool too. As of now only having this a couple of days, I'm not mad at this product. This is only a bad product if extremely (like extremely) sensitive to any noise, added weight, or you would rather buy the most expensive product just to say you did (side eyeing that person); everyone else will love this.

Good reputation for a reason
Fantastic build quality. Everything lines up perfectly, only a very, very slight distortion just under the charging port which I think is unavoidable based on the deck's layout. Does not add much bulk or detract from the deck, but adds protection, a kick stand, and slots for additional add-ons. My favorite is the fan which slides down to insert, has its own battery, and really does a great job in extracting heat (others have reviewed actual temp drops). The travel cover also fits amazingly well, with only slight concern that I might tweak the joysticks when removing. I always put it on when not in use, even when home. I do worry sometimes about inadvertently putting it on while the deck is actually running w/screen off, so just be mindful of that as it covers the top exhaust vent. I can't compare this to more expensive alternatives like the Killswitch but I can say that I really don't feel like I am missing anything and it's bananas cheaper, while still thoughtfully and precisely implemented.

Feels sturdy and looks great!!
These feel great on your steam deck, the nonslip grip paired with that extra layer of protection really increases the quality of the steam deck over all!! My only minor complaint is I’m a person who worries a lot and man, putting these on felt like forcing my steam deck into a spot it couldn’t fit. It gets nerve wracking around the triggers and bumpers because these protectors are built so good and sturdy, that they don’t bend or slightly flex to help the deck ease into the protector. if you aren’t paying attention the top of the cover will go in between the trigger and bumper and get a little snug in between the crease of the trigger and bumper and you’ll hear a pop and I thought I ripped out my bumper but it was just the top of the protector finally pushing into place. Besides maybe making it just a little easier to slip into, this is probably one of the best items you can get for the steam deck.
