Wonderful cookware non toxic!
cooks perfectly better than corningware, does not burn as easily rice cooks extremely well , quiet cooking and even heat distribution very hardy even though its glass and so versatile- ie oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge! ( microwave too if you must) I wish I had a whole set or started off with Visions from the beginning. Im just building up I think its very pretty colour too as that is not so obvious in the pictures. I wish others bought more of Visions cookware so that they can avoid the toxins from stainless steel ( nickel) and non stick cookware. I wish hence that they were slightly cheaper or you can buy them in sets or mix and match sets for a lower set price. welldone visions you are a life saver!

NASA in my kitchen....
I find it quite satisfying to be able to use a wonderful piece of technology from NASA in my kitchen ~ This saucepan from the US is a great idea and it seems to perform very well ~ I bought it for my dad, who's eyesight is now very poor. As the saucepan is see-through I thought it would help him to be a little more independant as he is now in a wheelchair, and would now have to view saucepans from the side instead of looking from above, but he doesn't feel confident enough at the moment with his eyesight, but he hopes to try it soon.~ The saucepan's glass is amber and is completely see-through, it feels very solid and seems to spread the heat more smoothly. It can be brought out straight from a deep freeze and put onto heat instantly, without damage, it certainly seems very tough!. It is the same glass which was developed for the Space Shuttle and had to withstand extreme heat and cold, pressure, vibration and resistance to damage from high speed particles hitting it, so I am confident it should come to no harm in the kitchen!. I'm pretty sure that it would not break, even if dropped on concrete, but I don't wish to try it just yet! ~ It may be a little costly, but it is cetainly no ordinary saucepan and I am hoping to buy the next size up. One giant leap for saucepans! enjoy.

Gutted Mold Spores and Smelly Boxes
I loved this product i had it years back and used it daily but left it on the hob once so i needed a replacement so i had no thoughts about any other cookware. Problem is when i recived the product it had white mold with tentacle like things coming off it. I was upset however i thought its bad luck maybe it got damp, it can't always be helped. So a second was ordered, this time the box was so smelly so much it was apparent as soon as it was in the house i didnt care to pull it all out it was obviously moldy so i had to send back. Now it brings me to half a year later, i should have learned but i order again (maybe it was bad bunch i thought) and suprise i find mold growth on the glass somehow with tentacles and a ball of white mold. I dont know if the manufacturer makes these anymore or if they have been sitting in storage or what. I would of loved to have this product again however never will i buy now as i can't belive that 3 times in a row. Im gutted i cant find anyone selling non toxic cookware and when i try to get i get mold instead. I wish pyrex made thier pyroceram as i know think i have to go with stainless steel which is harder to clean.

Slightly disappointed!
This pan was an expensive choice for me. Most don’t come with a lid so I forked out the extra cash. I was disappointed when I opened the packaging and read the enclosed leaflet/product information. The pan itself is Made in France and feels good quality. The lid however, is made in China and requires special care. It is not as strong as the pan but ordinary glassware. That was the disappointing part. This wasn’t mentioned in a clear way on the Amazon listing page.

The ones for one
I have only just discovered the Visions range of cookware and I am completely sold on them. They are mighty expensive but you do get what you pay for. Well almost - I ordered two of the 'Visions 0.8 Litre Pyroceram Glass Versa Pot with Glass and Plastic Covers' but there was no sign of any plastic covers in what was delivered. As it happens, that does not concern me but I thought that it was worth mentioning. Hopefully someone at Amazon will read this and correct the description. I love the versatility of this cookware and the fact that it can be used just about anywhere for cooking - oven, hot plate, microwave. And I have had no problem with cleaning it as it has come out sparkling from the dishwasher every time though, remarkably, I haven't burnt anything to a cinder yet! Most of all, however, I like the fact that Visions cookware is ideal for 'cooking for one'. So much cookware is only produced in sizes suitable for families, and although Visions do have larger items, their pots just below and just above 1 litre are perfect for those of us who cook routinely just for ourselves.

Just exactly what I want!
I bought the 2.5L saucepan for £44.99. I notice that the price has now gone up again, so it's worth keeping an eye on the price if you want to catch yourself a bargain! The item was exactly what I want and as described. I was a bit hesitant about ordering this online because as it's made of glass, there was a good chance that it would come broken on arrival, but it was well packaged. It's actually quite hard to source these - not a lot of retailers seem to sell this. This saucepan can be used to cook up a variety of different dishes and it is especially good for using it to cook soup. The fact that it's see-through means that you can see exactly where the waterline is to prevent your soup from over-boiling and then spilling over and making a mess. The only negative thing about this product is that as it's glass, you must be really careful when you are cleaning it and when you are handling it to prevent it from getting smashed to pieces. And also food can stick to the bottom which makes it tough to clean (it's not a non-stick surface!); so to prevent this, you should frequently stir your dish to prevent the food from sticking to the bottom. With careful handling, this product will last for a very long time.

Hard to find Nowadays
After lots of research and searching, I finally found these pots my mother used when I was a child! They are wonderful! 1. They are dishwasher safe and there are no hinges/screws/joins in which water/detergent can collect. 2. You can treat them like pyrex (which they are, essentially) 3. I found it easier to remove food from glass than from stainless steel. 4. They are not non-stick so we do cheat and have teflon pans for pancakes and eggs (omelettes, scrambled eggs) Remember they are glass and therefore: a) They can break if you drop them! b) You would need to use nylon or silicon cooking implements to prevent excoriating the glass. The only problem now is that I want to get another set but can't find any!
