Good mold, no issues
I thought I would leave a review on the egg mold, since all of the other reviews are for the chocolate bars. I had no problems using this egg mold. The chocolate came out easily, once dried. I used several colors of dry edible luster dust to the mold, before pouring in the chocolate, and it came out of the mold with a beautiful sparkly sheen, almost like a galaxy. The eggs are nice and large, and the definition of the diamond shape is great. I will say not to make the shells too thick because the halves won't match up well. I accomplished this by letting the excess chocolate drip out, and then using a cake spatula to remove excess chocolate around the lip so that its easy to remove from the mold. I am definitely hoping for a nice cracked shell when the kiddos hit the filled egg with their little mallots. I like the idea of an interactive treat, and this seems like it fits the bill well.

Fun kid activity
This was a lot of fun to use. We had ordered smash-eggs from bakeries in the past but couldn't find any this past Easter season so I ordered this! I think the hardest part was tempering the chocolate. As long as you get the chocolate right this is super easy to use. I like the silicone better than the hard plastic type because you can peel it off the egg shell as opposed to trying to shake/wiggle it out. It was a good size for our young children - if you have older kids I'd maybe make them each their own. Washed fine on top rack of our dishwasher.

Worked well
It was a bit bigger than I was expecting but it worked really well and cleaned very easily. Very durable.

Easy to work with, good price
Nice size, releases chicolate well if oil or butter is lightly used before pouring the chocolate. Good value for money. Made 12 many for churchโs Easter sale and all sold with great reviews of shape (and taste of course).

Lopsided egg
I was really excited when I got this because my grandson wanted a big dinosaur egg on his birthday cake. Everything went smoothly until I put the two halves together. They didnโt fit. One half was bigger than the other. I had to melt more chocolate and patch the two parts together. Didnโt look perfect but will have to do as I didnโt have time to return and exchange. If you buy, put the two halves together to make sure they are the same size. I didnโt check before I went to use it.

Easy to clean
It is very durable, washed in machine and it was good. It is easy to clean, and the appearance of the final chocolate eggs was great from outside. However it was a little hard to get all necessary layers to make an Easter egg. I wanted to make it a little thinner but it broke while removing it.

Easy homemade chocolate eggs
Made some great large chocolate eggs and filled them with wrapped candy favorites for the grandkids. They were excited to crack them open. Plus it was different than the traditional chocolate bunnies given at Easter.

Good size to hide stuff in!
My son loved the egg at Easter, however the mallet was too small and he couldnโt get into it lol
