Review: Goes on smooth and covers well, good base coat - I used this primer for a couple of DIY projects, including prepping some old interior doors and new MDF skirting boards. It applied really smoothly with both a roller and a brush, and dried fairly quickly without any strong odour. The finish it left behind was clean and even, giving the topcoat a perfect base to cling to. Coverage was great — I only needed one coat in most cases, and a light second coat where the surface was a bit more porous. The 2.5L tin went a long way. I didn’t experience any flaking or bubbling, and it bonded nicely to surfaces that had been previously painted. Pros: Great coverage and adhesion Fast drying with minimal smell Works well on both wood and plaster Cons: Needs proper surface prep for best results Not ideal for exterior use

**Q: Is this done for bare mdf cupboard doors and does it act as sealant as well? So i can just use this and then finishing paint on top?**
A: Yes - you could use it but not the best. A better product would be a primer which is specifically designed and developed for priming and sealing MDF. Some decorating professionals prefer to use a specific solvent based primer on MDF but you would need to allow extra drying time. Hope this helps. Best regards. Keith.

**Q: Can this paint be sprayed on to surfaces if i thin it down with polyurethane thinners**

**Q: Can you use on plasterboard**
A: Yes it could be used on plasterboard but best to apply a plasterboard sealer first to minimise the absorbency of the board. Contract grade emulsion would do the job just as well.

**Q: Can this be used to prevent 'flashing' from using filler to fill cracks in paintwork on interior walls?**
A: Yes I have used this for the same purpose, Just make sure you sand down the filler properly getting rid of any high spots, (Otherwise you'll see bumps after you apply your paint) , Brush on with a brush or roller this drys really quickly so you can give it a second going over if you get any flashing coming through. The quality of the paint is good for coverage,.From reviews stating that it has no odour,and it was written down also on the tin,i find this untruthful .I have done just one coat and its very strong odour,got the window open all night ,not able to put the heating on ,its 2 days now and the smell has been distubing.When painting the ceiling it can drop like all paints ,i am fine with that,for me it was just a few drops,but someone indicated that they experienced no dripping,?even a few drops will occure,
