Will these work with other manufacturer's nylon 1/2" air system hose?

I used it on other manufacturers hose it fit, but it it actually junk it had leaks and I tried a lot of them. Don’t waste your money you will be very disappointed

Do these still arrive damaged/broken? Have whatever shipping/packaging/manufacturing issues been fixed?

I have ordered , at different times various sizes. I haven't ever received damaged or broken. Their made pretty well. But I have learned that anything can get damaged during delivery. Those DELIVERY guys can be brutal.

Can i use them for shower water lines?

They're too small in diameter for a shower. You wouldn't get enough water volume through them.

I have my garage set up with a RapidAir system. It comes with hose and connectors but the connectors run out quickly. These are a perfect fit and allowed me to add several more drops to my garage with the leftover tubing I had. Push to connect has been 100% reliable and leakfree at 120psi. Five stars!
