Not as good quality
I have worn Hanes crew socks for many years and these are definitely lower quality than in the past (others have also noted this as well). They are comfortable but are much thinner material than before, with less cushioning, and I doubt that they will be as hard wearing. I will be looking at other brands next time.

The BLACK socks are NOT cotton. They are 97% polyester, barely cushioned and feel absolutely awful. If you buy these and then return you also have to ship them back to the USA at your own cost and hope that you are refunded the postal charges :(

After a few washes, they’ve held their shape without sagging at the top or losing elasticity. I also appreciate that the color and material don’t show a lot of lint or wear, even after repeated use. A small note is that while these socks are durable, they’re not meant to be heavy-duty work socks. If you’re wearing steel-toe boots daily, you might want something with more padding. Finally moving away from the check logo on my socks for a more low key look. Search for a while for socks that are quality while not breaking the bank. This price for a pack of 12 brand new were great. They're lightweight and comfortable and sit on the leg really well. Chucked out all my old ones and just use these now!
