I should note that my skin is fairly good to start with, so I don't have any major issues to address, but I am well into middle age, so I have "stuff" I need to take care of - like inner corners of the eyelids, little dark spots here and there, slight redness around the nose, etc. This concealer does require a two-step system - ie apply, blend, let sit, and recheck before powdering in order reblend a little if it settles into fine lines - but if you follow this approach, it works like a dream. Plus it is buildable. An added advantage is that if you use the right brush and a very light hand, it does double time as a light foundation, like around the nose to calm down any redness. I haven't actually even bothered with foundation since I bought it.
