Great game for 5yo. Easy to understand and play, the tea pot dice roller is so much fun. My only negative is that the tea pot does not fit into the box once its put together. Disassembling it each time is a bit annoying. But that's more a packaging/design issue. The game itself definitely 5/5

The Disney Princess Treats and Sweets Party Board Game. It is aimed at 4+ years old. The instructions are easy to follow and we were quick to understand the rules. The teapot snaps together easily and is the dice shaker. My kids especially loved this aspect of the game. The teapot splits in two easily to be packed away. There is a game board which shows which treats you need to match. It's basically a matching game with a twist. The cups are your play pieces which you move around the board. You have a saucer and 5 sugar cubes which is next to you. One dice tells you the colour heart you're moving to, which has a treat that you need to match. The other dice tells you how many cards you can turn over. The cards you turn over need to match the picture your piece has landed on, or you might turn over a princess wild card, which automatically matches whatever treat you've landed on. When you match the cards or get a wild card, you place them on your saucer and put a sugar cube into your cup. The first to put all 5 sugar cubes into their cup and shouts tea party wins. My children are 3 and 6, both were able to easily play this game. They understood the rules quickly and enjoyed playing it. There are a lot of cards which made it difficult for them to recall where previously turned over cards were. But they still enjoyed it. The teapot is lovely and different, both children loved it. However to pack it away you have to keep halving it, it would have been better if it fit into the box whole. I paid £8 for this game so feel it is value for money.

This was my 3 year olds first board game ever. Its simple enough but still engaging enough that I love it. You get to collect thingamobobs on a charm bracelet throughout the game. Definitely recommend as a board game for anyone who also loves the little mermaid.
