Webkinz Lionfish

My daughter is a seasoned Webkinz collector. She has been playing with several of them online for the last couple of years. I thought her enthusiasm had waned. When I saw this one online, I thought it wasn't particularly good-looking. When we received it, I realized I was wrong! This is a lovely Webkinz, very nice sized and beautiful detail on the fins. This is actually one of the best-looking Webkinz - the picture does not do it justice. For the uninitiated parents out there, Webkinz are stuffed animals that each come with a serial number so the kids can play with an avatar of their animal online. The games online are semi-educational and fun for kids. Kids can see their various "virtual Webkinz" online and build rooms and gardens for them. (I sure wish I thought up this brilliant idea - the stuffed animals are the cost to the user, and the online play is "free.")

The high-tech version of a Tamagotchi pet! Fun online, and you also get a nice little plush. This lionfish is pretty and different than your usual stuffed animal.

Add this one to your collection if you don't have it. It's so beautiful. Well made and perfect details. This Webkinz is a must for collectors. Better than any picture. But you might have to pull the fins out and and hang the fish a while to get the material of the fins to stand up after it has been packed and shipped. Lovely!

This little guy is adorable, and playing webkinz has always been fun for me to wind down.. some webkinz can be way overpriced, but this little guy was alright.

I got this for my 2yr old son. He LOVES fish. He loved this lion fish too. It's very fun looking and interesting. He doesn't necessarily play with it but he does sleep with it at night. When he's older then he'll be able to play with the online portion of the toy. It's very unique, for sure.

Fine for what it is, if you've ever purchased a Webkinz before you know what to expect. I bought this for my child who wanted an underwater pet, and this fit the bill and was affordable. The quality of the stuffed animal was okay, but the real reason I purchased this was for the code to use for online play.

Bought this for my son who likes playing with WebKinz online. The lion fish is very well-made and the details are cool. My son absolutely loves it.

It is not a bright and vibrant as the picture shows, and because of shipping, the fins are all bent and don't stand up. It's still going to make a nice tactile/sensory animal for my baby to play with, but if I'd seen it in person, I wouldn't have bought it.
