As the receiver lays flat, the TOP (not the front) is the area that must receive the IR signal. This is not ideal and a little counter-intuitive, but once I figured that out, the response was consistent and predictable. Works well but I have a small audio noise every time a ir signalnis sent. This has to be from the signal feedback through my TV’s USB port. Wish the power was on the receiver end.
