Very practical for natural cleaning around the home I ordered this citric acid mainly for household cleaning, and it has been very practical and easy to use. This stuff is awesome, it's the bee's PJ's for cleaning without nasty chemicals! I live in a very hard water area and had heard this stuff being recommended for descaling kettles...I was sceptical as we all get sucked into these things that don't actually work BUT this does work!!! I let the kettle boil then added a few little scoops (each scoop being a tbsp) left it for about a half hour and was fully expecting to be disappointed upon opening the lid but I really couldn't believe my eyes, it was like a new kettle! Thought I'd try it on a very old stainless steel sink (wish I'd done before and after photos!) sprinkled this stuff around, left it for a while and set to work with a plastic scourer and years of stains that other products just won't touch just disappeared before my eyes! Honestly if you don't believe me get a small bag and just try it for yourself! Because of the hard water soap scum build up is really hard to shift, again tried loads of products that don't work despite their claims, made a paste with this stuff (just adding a little water so it stayed on the plastic scourer) scrubbed at the soap scum on a china sink and you could just see it running away! This is my go to cleaner now and so nice not to be using nasty chemicals and this stuff helps keep drains from smelling too. Apparently you can clean the washing machine with it as well so thats the next test :o)

Had a problem with my microwave pouring water everywhere when on the cleaning cycle so thought I would give this a try. Used 20 grams to 250 mls warm water, did a great job at removing the gunk, repeated the process twice more and now have a perfect operation. Also used it to descale the kettle element which came up shiny like new.

All limescale vanished in seconds. It’s definitely a miracle cleaner for the shower, kitchen sink, and even metal spoons and forks with water marks. The packaging is superb, and the product is bigger than it looks in the picture.

WOW, me and the hubby were in disagreement to whether this product would remove dis-colourisation in the bottom of a toilet bowl. I believed it would do the job, hubby believed cement remover acid was better. I was right, I plunged bowl dry and sprinkled the citric acid granules in the bottom of the pan, added warm/hot water and Hey Presto - the mineral build up which causes the brown staining miraculously disappeared within minutes. No elbow grease required and toilet bowl now looks as white as the day it was brought. I purchased the 3kg bag which at the time was on 47% price offer which is basically half price. Comes in zip-sealed plastic bag so product can be kept airtight. Highly recommend for cleaning your loo and also does as good a job in descaling your kettle as the leading product descaler does.
