Review: Excellent - This filter is superb. I have it running on a Fluval Roma 240 tank. Which originally came with the Fluval 306. A good filter in its own right, but this is the next level. It’s really easy to maintain and due to its size and filtration ability I only clean mine out once very 5-6 months, where as with the 306, this I had to clean almost weekly. The intake and output can both be independently adjusted, so you can reduce the flow if it’s really stirring up your tank. It came with filter media and having had this running for well over 5 years now, I still have the original media in place and have no need to replace it any time soon. Mine came with a free gravel vac, although this was more of a novelty than a bonus. I just use a normal gravel vac as part of my water changes so the one included isn’t of any use as the water stays within the system. After years of constantly being on, it has been faultless but quiet it is not. There is a continuous humming noise coming from it and if the tank was in a bedroom you would not want the filter running. Keep this in mind before you buy as it is not silent. Our tank is in the living room and the filter sits in a cabinet, but it’s still quite loud, butit doesn’t bother us, however if it we’re silent running it would be an amazing and faultless filter. It includes a small tap that allows you to drain out water direct from the filter, this makes water changes incredibly easy. **Q: Can the filter be to big**
A: No to really. If you want to fully cycle your tank you need a filter that can fit enough bio media. Eg 1kg of media per 100l to gain a full cycle ie 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and 0 or low nitrate. You can get 2.75k of bio media in the f16 so good for a 250l tank.

**Q: Can I plum this in to my already set up inlet and outlet of my fluval 190 tank?, The fluval 305 external filter I have is leaking.**
A: No,the inlet and outlet are a different circumference

A: I placed my order and it said a week but the next day it came with Royal Mail

**Q: Will this fit under the Juwel Trigon 350? We have the older cabinet with the two doors but a panel between.**
