This Face Down Pillow used for Eye Surgery Recovery worked. Somewhat comfortable and met needs to use face down for 5 days 24/7, when using on table top I turned the pillow around and the metal bar height adjuster flat position which placed my head in the correct position (think of your head having a leveler tool bubble) For anyone to lay face down for X number of days with only a 15 minute break every hour is a challenge & MUST DO so for the surgery to be a success! FYI: I had to do this twice, surgery in second eye after 3 weeks following my first eye surgery. I used in the correct position (not turned around) while laying on my stomach in bed. I used another Face down pillow Amazon stock (ASIN#) B0B82WBSXD to lay face down in the back seat of my vehicle for the 2 hour drive home from the surgery center and on follow up doctor visit drives, much shorter distance. The pillow is comfortable and I liked it while I was able to use it but unfortunately it isn’t strong enough to hold up a persons head. It clicks into different heights/angles and once it collapses at a height it will no longer work or be able to be reset back into that height. I tried it at my perfect angle and it collapsed so I couldn’t use that distance anymore so I went to one click above what was comfortable because it wasn’t my ideal height but not too bad and it collapsed within minutes so that height wasn’t an option anymore either. I decided to accept defeat and will be returning it.

This item works good. They need to remedy the locking latch because the pillow falls. It never stays at the level I want it. I’m 120lb so it’s not me, it’s the mediocre locking height mechanism.

Used product for post care for victroectomy eye surgery. I found adjusting the height of the pillow was difficult. I am over 60 and have arthritis in both hands. Maybe a dial knob might work better. Also I found that the legs of pillow slipped out to easily. Other than those items the pillow is pretty comfortable. I used for 7 days of face down recovery.

This thing was such a lifesaver when the doctor told me I needed to keep my face down CONSTANTLY and I needed to sleep. Trying to actually sleep was still difficult for me as a side-sleeper, but I was able to breathe! It held up well and the adjustments are nice, I had it up a little higher when i wanted to watch something on my phone and then lower when trying to rest. Didn't notice any odd smells, seemed fine and dandy to me!

I ordered this pillow 2 weeks before a vitrectomy surgery on June 17. I let it air out, and fluff up. It was perfect to use in bed and on the kitchen table to keep face down following my surgery. The hole was big enough, that I didn't feel smothered, and the arm allowed it to be propped up for easy adjustments if I was sleeping, or sitting. I was worried about having to stay face down for 5 days and not feel smothered, but this pillow worked perfectly for me.

Bad quality and not secure to put your face after surgery because it’s wiggling.

Very hard to adjust height! Frame was impossible to readjust. It frame was improved - could be a good product.

La peor compra que pude hacer. Mi esposa tuvo vitrectomia y confiamos en que esta seria la mejor solucion para mantener la posicion que se prescribe. Le debemos muchas noches de no poder dormir por una falla de construccion. El ajuste de la altura de los tubos se vence al recargar la cabeza y no es posible colocar la cara de forma funcional. No se si la podre devolver, pero nadie nos podra regresar las noches de padecer por este producto defectuoso.

No contiene el soporte de la almohada y así no tiene utilidad alguna… necesita el soporte!!!!
