Much better than what the hospital provided!
This devices is so much more comfortable than what I was given by the hospital. The breathable back is comfortable. This thing stretches very nicely so I can adjust it for sitting, standing, or laying down. The side panels are wonderful for added support and is there is a spot that I may have left less secure, I can place the panels there for added compression and security. I am super satisfied with this product. This thing got here super fast and I was able to use it right away! It did not cause me any pain, unlike the one I was given by the hospital. (Read below for the state of the hospital device). I had to wear a waist/stomach compression device after surgery. I had no idea that this was going to be necessary for my surgery, so I took no preemptive steps to prepare. The device that the HOSPITAL provided me was stiff, uncomfortable, and folded into my body, leaving bruises. I have provided an image to show it being in use with my body parts cropped out.

Structured support, custom fit, easy to put on solo, great for sleeping
Great for post hernia repair surgery! I had 4 hernias repaired last week: 1 umbilical, 2 femoral, 1 inguinal. In preparation for surgery, I purchased 2 different binders / waist trainers to try for pre-op and post-op. This was the winner. To be honest, the binder the hospital sent me home in is also remarkably comfortable—something I wasn't expecting after reading a lot of horror reviews of hospital-issued binders. I must've just gotten a good one! However, the one from the hospital is all elastic and one large piece, and while it is most comfortable for use during the day, it isn't as customizable, I need help putting it on, and I have found I prefer this one for sleeping in. My stats: I am 5'5", 135lbs, and fairly trim except for a slightly enlarged tummy area from a moderate to severe diastasis. I generally wear a clothing size S or 4-6, and this in the S/M is a perfect fit, plus it is very adjustable. Just FYI, this one is NOT 100% cotton like the description says. However, the back is stretchy (but boned so it doesn't roll up), while the front is not stretchy. This gives me more structured support while lying down so that I can more comfortably and confidently change sleeping positions without pain. Also, I am not really short-waisted, but this one is a bit long for sitting in. It's comfortable for standing or sleeping in, but crumples at the top (under my bra) if I try and sit in it. To be honest though, the extended length is a big part of what makes it MORE comfortable for sleeping in, so it's not necessarily a con, just something to note. PROS: • Structured in the front for greater protection of my surgical area • Divided front panel makes it easy to customize the fit and get support where I need it most • The added elasticized waist straps fine-tune the fit perfectly • I can get this one on by myself vs the hospital one that requires 4 hands. TIP: put this on lying down for the most even distribution of support. • One week post-op, I can sleep comfortably with this on and even roll over carefully as this binder prevents me from distorting my torso while rolling over. • There is a little extra strip of fabric on the inside for folding the tabs onto when not in use (it arrives this way, so just take note). This will help preserve the velcro for longer durability! CONS: • Not 100% cotton as advertised.

Just what I was looking for in a Binder
I received this binder yesterday, and so far, so great in terms of what I need! I recently had a Diep flap breast reconstruction and was in need of a stomach binder to help heal my incision and protect it, as well as cinch me to help reshape my body and increase blood flow. What I LOVE is that is a main closure consisting of two flaps, then there are two more that wrap around from the back to increase tautness and give a little more “shape” to the mid-section. I also appreciate that the Velcro doesn’t curl up and stick to the insides of my clothing!! The Velcro is strong so be mindful if you’re wrapping up yourself. :) Highly recommend! Initially I had wished this appealed to small waited people but the boning in the back helps give added support and stability. I am 5’5, around 145 pounds and got a S/M.

Great for hysterectomy recovery
Using this post hysterectomy and it is so much better than the hospital issued one! It’s adjustable and provides a lot of support without being too rigid or confining.

Essential for post tummy tuck
A god send after tummy tuck. After trying a few different versions. This was my favorite and most comfortable. I bought 2 for post surge. Then purchased a third. In the early weeks I even slept in one they were so supportive and easy to adjust. I like the fact I could wear my regular panties with these which made going to the bathroom so much easier.

Bad construction
The sizing on this was all off, and it's too stiff to really bind anything properly.

Great post op compression
I just had smart lipo on my upper and lower abs. I’m using this for compression to help with swelling. The size is adjustable and will fit me as the swelling goes down and I get smaller. The fabric is nice and sturdy. I like the Velcro on the sides, I can adjust to make tighter, or when I feel like it’s too tight and need a little break I can loosen. I have been wearing this 23 hours a day, I take a little break every day. I ordered several compression items before my procedure, this has been the one that I wear every day.

Not my number one choice for after surgery
I bought this for after a tummy tuck and hernia repair. Out of all 5 belly binders I’ve used in my life (had a c-section before), this one is my least favorite. It’s uncomfortable (feels pokey on the inside) and doesn’t seem to provide as good of support as my hospital given binder. However, it does get tight, Velcro holds well, and will do in a pinch such as while your hospital provided binder is being washed. Could be great for general use but don’t think it should be a front runner for post op.
