RAZER
Brilliant controller for the PS5. And if your use to the Xbox controller feel. Don't worry this controller has got you with the same feeling as the Xbox controller so you haven't missed it

Functionality isn’t great and wireless doesn’t work as it should. Avoid
At its core, the idea is great. I like the button placement, the hair trigger setting and I REALLY like the feel of the buttons (especially the face buttons). However… there are a few really poor design flaws for me. 1- the wireless option for PS5 just doesn’t work well at all. Almost from the start I was getting serious lag/ghosting where my screen would spin for 5-10 seconds, or the controls would just lag about a second or so behind. I am basically using it as a wired controller all the time 2- the power button is just strange. When it’s wired and I turn off the PlayStation the lights on it go out. When I go back to turn on the PlayStation, it shows that the battery is almost dead. Is it on… is it off??? Who knows! Not me. 3- it DOES NOT turn on the PlayStation, so you have to get up, turn on the console and then turn on the controller (plugged in because the wireless is so bad). It should really be more clear about this serious lack of functionality. 4- support is total trash. After watching videos I discovered that you can update the device using the app on a phone, but it has such little information I am unsure what the latest update is. I can’t even find it in their website. I was hoping that might fix it, but I can’t tell you. I contacted Razer support, went through the step to get to the chat, completed the robot answers and then sat there for 30mins with no reply. No email, nothing. Useless. I really really wanted this controller to be good. I had a scuff pad for my PS4 which was amazing. This is seriously over priced for what it is.

Not what I hoped..
The dongle was not worth using, the connection was almost unplayable. Wired it was good. But I didn't buy it for that, I wanted a wireless controller.. This was not that..

Good controller but had connection issues
I bought this controller due to it having the analog stick layout similar to Xbox controllers which I find better than the PS controller layout. I was very frustrated with it for the first week due to connections issues and some bad lag input. The issue I found is it didn't work work well with my SteelSeries Arctis 7P+ headset. Having both of them connected to the PS5 at the same time seemed to cause issues for the controller. I evetually went back to using my Turtle Beach Stealth Gen 600 headset and I haven't had any connections issues since. As for the performace of the controller, I found it good once the connections issues were sorted. The advantages I liked over PS5 controller is the feel of the it is much better. The d-pad is better too. I like the fact you have the option to lock the L2 & R2 triggers to button mode. The remapable buttons are defintely a cool feature. You will need to download the app via iOs or Android to remap. I haven't timed the battery life properly but it does feel like it less than a Dual Sense controller and is the only negative I've found so far.

Perfect.
This controller is pretty much perfect, it is smaller but it's so comfortable when gaming for a longer period of time. I'm using it via the included Bluetooth dongle and it's extremely responsive. Very easy to set up too. The app isn't the best but oh well. Overall, I would definitely recommend this.

Great xbox style game pad for PS5
This is great if you like the off-set thumbstick similar to the xbox gamepad layout. The best compliment i can give is it's almost like the elite series gamepad on the xbox. It also has great build quality and i love the RGB lighting as well. Overall so glad i bought this and it's so good i bought another one shortly after buying this.

Ok controller but not worth the price
I bought this controller last July and I'm writing this review as I now has some issues after a few months in. Before that, will review it in comparison to the Razer Raiju TE for PS4 which I had before. First off, it is much lighter than the Raiju TE since it no longer have the rumble motors. I don't mind losing the rumble but being so light cheapens the feel of the controller. It has 4 back buttons now instead of 2, but button placement is worse than the Raiju TE. It is now more in the middle of the controller instead of the "handle" which makes the M3 and M4 buttons a bit more difficult to reach. M5 and M6 are trigger type buttons so it is easier to press. I don't use the M3/M4 buttons due to this and just use the M5/M6 which invalidates the point of having 4 buttons in the back. Top buttons seems to be fairly the same, which I'd hope that they'd improve on. I usually hold controllers with my middle fingers in the R2/L2 buttons and index fingers in the R1/L1 buttons but is awkward to do in both Razer controllers. This is personal preference though, as some might use their index finger to use the trigger buttons instead, which is perfectly fine in this controller. Bluetooth connection has now been removed as well (only works now for the mobile app) and replaced with the dongle. You can no longer wake up the PS5 as well with the controller using the PS button. So you would need to reach for the console to turn it on first. Now for the issue, having used the controller moderately in the past few months, the 'X' button seems to have an issue now. It sometimes does not recognize that the button has been pressed even when you hear the click (buttons have mouse click feel to it). When playing platforming or some looter shooter games, it causes me to fail some jumps as it is not registering the double press (or even single press sometimes). Overall it is an OK controller but has some build quality issues. Not really worth the price in my opinion.
