Although the instructions state that it is not effective if chlorine has come into contact with the fabric, I can confirm that it does work! Only minimal traces of the previous stains remain. The treatment was easy: Pour half of the dye directly onto the stains until the dye is thoroughly soaked in. Leave the lid open and place the entire bottle on top of your jeans inside the washing machine.
