Xreal / Nreal Air Solution
I was looking for a solution for connecting Nreal glasses to my PC rather than my Steam Deck. I have two HDMI cables connected, one of which is 20m in order I can use the PC in another part of my house (lounge). I also have a 20m USB 2 cable running to the lounge which I've connected to a powered USB hub to connect to a keyboard/mouse. I discovered the USB cable provided insufficient power to obtain a picture but upon using an iPhone charging adapter, I managed to get a perfect picture but to my frustration did not get any sound. After a lot of research and faffing around, I discovered that altgough the HDMI ordinarily provides an audio stream, this doesn't work when connected to the Nreal / Xreal air as the sound is carried via the USB part of the cable. The easy solution was to purchase a cheap Tp-Link nano Bluetooth 5 dongle and use earbud headphones. The Bluetooth dongle also allowed me to connect an Xbox Controller which was an added bonus. I've now put the Steam Deck in the cupboard and will only be used when travelling! This was a perfect solution to a frustrating issue.

Xreal ar glasses work hdmi out usb power out to usb c input straight into ar xreal glasses might want get usb c to usb c female jack to extend cable just easy slack off

Hot connection
Does the job but the HDMI connector does seem to get very hot…

Overheating
Worked really well with xreal beam for a few months but now overheats and cuts out. Too hot to touch after a couple of minuets use and is dangerous.

Just about works in some very specific situations
Works as intended with my PC but unlike them showing it working on Xbox Series X and PS5 it doesn't really. Xbox Series X won't output anything to the Xreal AR glasses (updated firmware). PS5 won't output any sound even with the USB powering the cable. As others have mentioned the cable gets very very hot, it still works (as mentioned on PC) but I worry for how long.

Works great with XReal Air 2
Bought to use XReal Air 2 with hdmi devices, does the job great. The only issue I have with it is that the hdmi end gets quite hot, which can be concerning.

Doesn’t Work with Studio Display
Don’t use for Apple studio display, does not work, don’t waste your money

Really fast and stable
This cable is simply amazing, I used it with the Xreal air 2 ultra glasses and a sternal type C4k monitor from my laptop and the quality was amazing, no stutters or artifacts whist gaming at 4k and over all a great cable for using sternal type C monitors.
