Can the blade be replaced when it's lost it sharpness?

In my opinion, as it is intended for smoothing the edges of plasterboard and the plaster is quite soft, the blades are sufficiently robust to last for many uses. It would be difficult to attempt to sharpen them, so just replace the tool when necessary.
