This a very good wallpaper kit and tremendous value for money, I think I paid about £12 for it. I removed wallpaper with the scaper, used the paste brush for priming new plaster as well as the rest of the walls in preparation for wall liner. I used the smoothing brush when smoothing out bubbles under the liner. I didn't use the smoothing brush in the majority, it supplemented a plastic smoother which I would definitely recommend people purchase to supplement this kit. The scissors are sharp, although they were a little stiff so I oiled the screw. For trimming off excess liner/wallpaper on an outward corner I would recommend buying one of those plastic paper cutters for giftwrapping, they're cheap and cheerful but I found them far more effective in cutting clean neat lines on outward corners. My first attempt with the scissors left jagged lines although I did pull the scissors in one long continuous cut. All round a very good kit, definitely recommend.

Basic kit, but has everything you need. If you are planning on doing a lot of wallpapering, but might want to invest in something a little better, but for small jobs, the price for the quality is hard to beat.

Excellent well worth the money

Well worth the mone DIY wall paper utility kit. The items are of good enough quality for the home decorator. The paste brushes had good grip making them easy to use and were of good size. The scissors was sharp enough to cut effectively vinyl wall paper, either dry and with paste. Th scraper was uilised to scrape away the remnants of old wall paper. It also proved it's effectiveness when used to cut lengths of wall paper that were creased to the correct length. It functioned as a Stanley knife in that I was able to glide it inside the wall paper creases to cut straight lines. Every item functioned as one would expect.

good for basic decorating,scissors not that good at cutting wallpaper but decent set for the price.

A handy set of tools, the brush for paste is great. I did prefer to use a flat plastic smoother rather than brush for finishing. The roller for edges wasn't really that effective. Scissors and flat scraper won't go astray for other projects
