This is an excellent little accessory for my iPhone. I bought it for my iPhone 14 Pro Max and now use it with my 17 Pro Max, but it will work with any MagSafe phone. I don't use a case, and this little device keeps my camera from touching the surface I set the phone on screen up. It holds on tight too (sturdy) and doesn't come off in my jeans or slacks front pocket. It works great as a stand and adjusts to hold the phone up in either portrait or landscape. If I'm a wee bit nervous about dropping my phone, the ring allows me to loop my finger through for extra assurance I won't drop the phone. I used the extra little clip a couple of times to hang the phone from my laptop as the auxiliary camera, and it worked great and is easy to use.

I’ve been using the Belkin MagSafe Camera Mount for a few months, and it’s awesome. It’s super easy to attach, holds my iPhone securely, and the video quality is way better than my MacBook’s built-in camera. Perfect for Zoom calls or streaming, and it looks great with my MacBook. Definitely worth it.

Belkin always makes solid products. This is no exception to that. This mount is extremely high quality and feels very good. The biggest issue here is too many user variables. Meaning? When you are using this on an iPhone without a case on it, it’s a dream. Solid and firm magnetic grip with no mobility issues. When you are using this on an iPhone with a case on it, it’s not so great. Depending on the thickness or texture of the case you are using - you will run into issues with the magnet holding strong during daily use. The reason I stated this is great for desk use only is because I leave this on my desk and only use it when I’m hopping on a call for work. I do not carry it around on my phone outside of that scenario mainly due to the magnet strength issue while my phone is inside of a case. Highly recommend this though for the main reason it should be used - mounting for video calls.

I bought this for the camera mount feature, for which it works great, but I use it far more often as a grip assist and phone stand. It’s sleek, not too bulky, and works extremely well with both magsafe and a magsafe compatible case (Otterbox commuter, for me).

(Saturday May 3, 2025) Not only the MagSafe magnets is much stronger but also way much cooler. The design is awesome and doesn’t fall or doesn’t wobble my MacBook display at all. The only cons is that you can’t close your MacBook, you have to remove before closing lid on your MacBook or else you may damage the screen. Unfortunately, it is bit expensive but it is worth it because once use your iPhone as a Webcam, there is no going back to using MacBook built-in 720p trash Camera for video calls 😉 The summary? Buying from an expensive brands are much better than buying from a cheap brands due to design, built-in and easy to use! Belkin is all the way to go!!!

Gebruik het om mijn iphone (15) boven op het scherm van mijn macbook pro te plaatsen om deze als webcam te gebruiken. Werkt goed, ook met hoesje rond de iphone.

Works great, very strong magnet, I love that it can be removed so easily to charge the phone inductively or to dock it into a magnetic dash mount in my car, compared to the older collapsible button unit adhered to my old phone’s case.
