My heart doctor suggested that I buy a new cuff. I didn't even know that was a possibility. It fit on my Omron blood pressure machine. I used the previous adapter however the cuff comes with adapters. So far it works fine. It can expand larger than the previous cuff.

I needed a small blood pressure cuff for an Omron HEM-780, which I believe is an older model. I was unable to find a cuff specifically for it, so I tried this product. The cuff size works for my thin upper arm, and one of the adapters fits my model. However, the adapter does not fit snuggly into the unit and I feared air might leak around it while inflating. I tried to remedy this by wrapping a thick rubber band around the adapter and the monitor to hold them together. So far, it appears to be working. I would’ve given this product five stars, except for the adapter issue. Omron could probably remedy the situation by offering its own small cuff that will fit the HEM-780.

I was skeptical because of the cuff not matching the manufacturer of my blood pressure monitor. After comparing readings and speaking with my physician, this cuff gives a more accurate reading. No complaints here. Adjusting the fit take a bit of time, but still no complaints.

Some what disappointed- couldn’t get a good read due to cuff

I was very impressed with the Omron meter, but the cuff disappeared during a house move. I hadn’t realized replacements were available. This replacement matched the quality of the original, and one of its included adapters created a perfect seal with the meter. A quick check showed that one of the other adapters was correct for the house-brand meter that I had been using so I suspect that the kit is universal. The next day, I visited the staff at Kaiser, and they confirmed that the new cuff produced readings consistent with their stethoscope measurements. My arms are thin, and this cuff was longer than I needed, so it should easily accommodate much larger individuals. If you haven’t been using a home meter regularly, it’s worth checking with professionals. The latest guidelines include more detailed instructions on posture, positioning, and resting time. Following those steps will ensure your home readings match the results obtained by clinicians who now follow the same standards.
