This is a wonderful gentle lotion that fades hyperpigmentation fast. I’m so glad I found it. have been using it for less than 3 weeks and I have seen dramatic results. My second bottle should arrive sometime today. I have suffered from eczema all my life so finding a non-irritating lotion that works to fade dark spots after a flare up is a very big deal to me. I have seen a dermatologist regularly for my eczema for about 30 years so I know that if I go outside without wearing sunscreen while using this lotion my skin will get darker from the sun’s UV rays. It’s not the lotion that darkens the skin. That’s just how melanin rich skin like ours works. It’s NOT wearing sun protection while using kojic acid and other skin treatments that causes treated black and brown skin to darken. You also have to wear sun protection for about 6 to 8 weeks after you stop using these types of skin treatments. As a matter of fact you should be wearing sunscreen all the time anyway. I learned that from my dermatologist. If you have sensitive skin go ahead try it, it might work for you too. However, it’s very moisturizing but it’s not a replacement for your body moisturizer so you might still have to use a good lotion such as La Roche Posay Triple Repair body lotion especially if you suffer from dry skin. I don’t use any additional moisturizer with this. It’s very good on its own for black and brown skin. Whatever you do always wear sunscreen while outdoors to keep that beautiful skin clear and looking good during and after treatment. I haven’t written an Amazon review in about 8 years though I buy merchandise from them a few times a month. I felt this product was a good product and it was unfairly getting a bad rap so I made the time to do this review to help other people like myself. It’s a gentle product that works but you MUST wear sunscreen while out in the sun! And if you get skin dryness, buy a good quality moisturizing body lotion and layer it on top of the kojic acid lotion. Try to drink more fluids as well. Your dryness probably has nothing to do with the use of this lotion.

I’m not switching to anything else lol.. this is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It doesn’t bleach, it keeps my skin moisturized, and it evens out my tone. Just the perfect strength.

I’ve been using this product since November 1, 2023 and I have noticed a significant difference on my face, arms and back. The dark marks have started to lighten after the first month of use. I love the smell! You just need to be consistent and you will start to see results eventually.

And it works. I was kind of skeptical but it works well with semi new/ new scars. I have olive skin but I am on the fairer side. Therefor I am prone to hyperpigmentation . It faded two month old scars on hands and a 6 month old scar on my leg. It took around 8 weeks.

This is my first time using this product and or this company. This lotion is very watery and is not moisturizering at all. After you apply it you still have to apply another moisturizering lotion or you will be ashy. I have not seen any visible changes in my skin and I've been using this product twice a day since delivery. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone seeing how much money I feel that I waisted on it. I think it's too watery to even be affective.
