Hidden in a secret Swiss safe for several years, this is one of the last of the original episodes to be released. Pingu and his family are invited to a wedding and, as usual, the young penguin and his sister Pinga get up to the usual comic mayhem ensues. Watching Pingu DVD's, (whether with or without my 2yr old little mate) is truly marvellous! It brought memories of the Clangers, Morph & other claymation superstars! The makers are onto a real winner here. It is a so subtle & extremely well thought out programme, I just love it. So does my boss at work!! People of all ages (not having grown up is a real advantage) will enjoy the wonderful short stories & attention to detail. What's going on in the background also is worth looking at when you, er, I mean your children, watch it repeatedly! In short all of the Pingu DVD's are a real treat. It's a pity desertcart don't stock much Pingu memorabilia though. I have now managed to source some & have Pingu & Pinga beanies atop my PC monitor. Review: Four Stars - Very happy with product

Pingu rules! Watching Pingu DVD's, (whether with or without my 2yr old little mate) is truly marvellous! It brought memories of the Clangers, Morph & other claymation superstars! The makers are onto a real winner here. It is a so subtle & extremely well thought out programme, I just love it. So does my boss at work!! Brilliant!
My little boy is 2 and he absolutely loves this, it makes him laugh out loud. It's a great DVD, hours of viewing, but the main feature - the wedding - is easily the best. What I also love about Pingu compared to many programs designed for kids of this age is that I can watch it too and be quite entertained!

... leider zählt diese DVD nicht dazu. Zu hektisch und angstmachend empfand ich die Hauptfolge der DVD, in der ein Hochzeitsgeschenk (Staubsaugroboter) Amok läuft. In der Episode "Grandfather comes to visit" (Der Großvater kommt zu Besuch) finde ich es pedagogisch schlecht, dass der Großvater sich mit den Kindern gegen den Vater verbündet. Dazu wird Zauberrei verharmlost, was ich als Christ ablehne. Pingu Interessierten empfehle ich die DVDs Pingu Classics 1-3.
