As a small bakery that is now required to track the change in temperature of our pies as they move from the prep room, to the oven, to the cooling rack, then to the blast chiller and finally to the freezer - we were told to purchase data logger (button logger). We had never used one before but we chose the Tempo Disc because of the great reviews. Having used the Tempo Disc device we can assure a future buyer that it does the job. We found it relatively easy to set up though the instructions in the box were minimal. The best way to learn how to use it is to download the supporting app. It's much clearer here how to get it to work. Within minutes of downloading the app we had it working and we loved the Bluetooth element of it as we could track the change in temperature within our pie - every minute - though you can change it to the time period you wish. As the pie was heating up or cooling down we could check the change in temperature in real time. We like that fact you can export the data captured into a spreadsheet and you can create your own graphs based on the this data. We needed a Calibration Certificate for our Tempo Disc - so please note if you buy it from Amazon UK you not be able to get this. As we are now going to buy two more direct from USA via their website - we are so happy with the support given to enable us to do this. Final verdict - a recommended buy - and a bargain at the price as you can pay a lot more from other suppliers of devices like this.

A small disc that gives a huge amount of information. You can set these to log as often as you want. The batteries last for more than six months and are easy to change. The new app is easy to use and very responsive. They give fast an accurate information via Bluetooth, so you need to be fairly close, although I do have it in another room and it reads the information easily on my phone. With the app you can store the information on iCloud (as I have an iPhone) or reputedly by email, which means you can log information throughout the whole season. Great customer service and fast delivery. Excellent company. Thank you.

very small so easy to hide thermometers, and the fact they can be read from any smartphone with the App, without pairing. meaning several people can easily check on temps , quickly. There are a few bits on the app that could be made easier. (unless I cant find them.

After searching for a long time for a device compact enough for my very specialist application I came across the BlueMaestro Tempo. I was exceptionally impressed by the proportions and ease of use. I downloaded the Android app in advance of delivery. Once the package was delivered it was up and running in less than 60 seconds. Fantastic device. I can highly recommend and will be ordering again. Would have been nice to have the option for more frequent sampling of temperature but once a minute works fine. The wireless range is great in open air but behind a casing or enclosure it does reduce quite a bit.

Having used a few temperature sensors in the past to monitor temperature sensitive medications, I now have to say Tempo Discs have proven themselves to be very stable, accurate and well made. They are clearly made to last and do the job without fault. The sensors are small enough to be placed anyway that monitoring is required and have excellent Bluetooth range. These particular sensors are not totally waterproof, although the company, Blue Maestro does make a sensor that is completely waterproof. I did have a slight issue that was dealt with very quickly by an excellent customer service team. I also understand that a temperature alert feature is being worked on for future release in the App that can be downloaded. In summary, a feature packed App, accurate and stylish sensor.

Not accurate, we bought this so wecould see on our phone the temperatureof the hot tub, however it didn't work, the temp was not accurate and it didnt send a good signal to the phone, waste of money.

I have several of these units, and this one has not been as easy to connect with Bluetooth as others, I had to reload the software several times and replace the battery before it started to comunicate correctly. It also keeps loosing data and resetting the time period to one second, hence the stops recording when full, I have all the units set to 1800 seconds (half an hour) and only have problems with this unit. If it plays up again in the next few days I will be returning it.

This little device, not much bigger than a 50p piece, is excellent. I use mine to monitor the air temperature around the external water tanks on my Motorhome. Knowing when to switch on vital anti-frost heaters is essential to prevent damage to tanks, pipes and fittings when travelling in winter. I have installed this device securely under my Motorhome in a waterproof box with vents that allow the free flow of air but not water (or insects). The app is clear and simple to use which enables you to download stored data to your phone (or email it to a specific email address). The signal is so strong that when I park the Motorhome on my property I can still pick up data in the house. I was so impressed by the capability of this little device I have purchased a temperature/humidity sensor to monitor the interior of the motorhome. This is an excellent device!
