Does what it says

Brilliant product!! Cleaned my hardwood garden furniture beautifully. Because it contains bleach it is aggressive towards wood so the furniture needs replenishing with plenty of teak or Danish oil. Also plenty of washing the wood with water after application.

All three items arrived but one of the three containers had cracked open and had leaked into the sealed plastic bag within the packaging. I had to throw away the brown plastic bottle with the leaked contents, leaving me only two to complete the task I needed to finish!

This worked really well to refurbish a wooden climbing frame that had been left outdoors. Came up like new without any hard work! Would use again.

I have a lovely Iroko (hardwood) picnic bench that I bought from John Lewis nearly 30 years ago. Nearly every year since I bought it I have used a belt sander to sand the 4 panels on the top and two panels each side (that you sit on) down to the beautiful wood. I have then coated it in teak oil and the result is glorious, rich, nutty and brown again and the wood soaks up the oil like a sponge. It has been an ongoing labour of love and hard work, but so worth it. It always ended up looking new again. (The legs and supports I didn't sand down but just coated in teak oil every couple of years and they are now black but there is no rot). Having read all the very positive reviews I purchased this product and was hopeful that it would save me the annual hard graft as I too am 30 years older! I followed the instructions on the bottle, sprayed it, scrubbed it, washed it off, but when dry it ended up looking white and dry (just bleached) and when I put on the teak oil it was not thirstily absorbed. I was sorely disappointed. It made me realise that there is no substitute for doing it properly and sanding down to decent, fresh wood.

Flipping amazing stuff. Used on an oak front door that had gone grey. Looks like new.

Always been impressed with HG products, this one is no exception. I took the cover off my outdoor table that was completely refurbished last autumn. But it's appearance was awful. A couple of applications of this and then some furniture oil, all looking tip top. I used the remaining on and old shed and the results were equally as good.
