It would be good in a bedroom for people who are sensitive to light. I use mine in the bathroom. It looks decent and is unobtrusive, and the price is reasonable. The sensor is appropriately sensitive, and it never fails to turn on.My only two minor, nit-pick, non-deal-breaking issues are thus:(1) The color of the LEDs is the most sickly, disgusting hideous awful "cool white" you could imagine. Think 1980's mercury vapor airport parking lot morgue halloween gray skin and blue lips ugly. If there were a true warm or neutral white version of this, I'd buy it over this one. But at least you won't trip over the dog.(2) It doesn't stay on long enough. In the brief time to take a 2:00 AM leak, it shuts off.
