Good Emergency Supply Item
Bought these for our emergency supplies, very long shelf life, very high in calories meaning you don't have to eat the whole bar in 1 setting could probably get multiple "meals" out of 1 bar. Good deal for how many you get. I haven't eaten them because they are more like a "break in case of emergency" supply, but my husband states he has had them before and taste great! not like cardboard. Very easy food item that can be used as a to go food, munchy food. Great quality packaging also.

astes Better Than Expected – A Must for Any Emergency Kit
I picked up a few of these to add to our emergency kits, and after trying one out, I’m honestly impressed. The blueberry flavor is subtle and actually pretty pleasant—not overly sweet or artificial like some other brands I've tried. The texture is dense but not rock-hard, and it’s easy to break into smaller portions. I like that it’s packed with nutrients and lower in sugar compared to similar rations, which makes it feel more balanced for a long-term emergency situation. The packaging is solid and compact, and the 5-year shelf life gives peace of mind. Hopefully I never have to rely on these—but it’s good to know they won’t be miserable to eat if the time comes. Great option for go-bags, hurricane kits, or car emergencies.

Pretty good
The vacuum seal broke mysteriously about 5 days after I got it. Wasn’t too worried because I used them pretty quick. After 2.5 days without food they were very very pleasant. Gave a boost of energy and weren’t over powering like some other brands. Packaging needs work, but good product.

Highly recommend for emergency rations
I open the old pack(4 years old) that this was replacing and they are very good for emergency rations. You will need some water to help rinse the chunks out of your teeth but as it goes for taste I like them and the kids were asking for more.

Taste great. Long term storage. Very affordable.
Bought them to be stored in a 72 hour go to/deployment pack for my state Defense force. Taste great and are significantly more affordable than other prepper materials.

The taste is odd to say the least
I got these thinking they should go on the shelf and last for a time when food is scarce. I bought two so that I could try them. I did not receive a compromised package as some reviewers claim, but I opened one nonetheless. They are individually wrapped internally, but not very high integrity on the internal packages. Would keep them dry from light moisture, but dont let them get actually wet, they would not survive the ordeal. The outer package is well structured and the vacuum seal is decent enough. What really got me however was the taste. It didnt hit me right away, but I felt like I was eating makeup. The wife had a taste as well, and she got the taste in an instant. They taste like chapstick. Which is an odd flavor even for survival food. I cannot escape the flavor, and its definitely chapstick.. Perhaps the binders are made of the same material. Gross but ultimately palatable.
