Lids can be removed for cleaning. Lids fit well and secure when shut and clip put in place. Dislike: the middle section nearest the hinge is difficult to open - needs slightly larger tab to get nail under. This is why I gave 4☆. Less important: no labelling of sections (even 1, 2 etc) apart so easier to mix up if in a rush.
