This 90 degree elbow works really well - I needed to connect an external ssd to the back of my laptop without the cable protruding too far, this neatly routes the cable along the back and keeps it flush to the back so it doesn’t get in the way. No quality issues. Works great.

They work as advertised. I got this and another that is at another angle because I got a pair of desk lamps for my computer desk to light up behind my monitor. The lights are supposed to be pointed at the wall but the USB C connector is ointing straight out from the back of the lamps so I needed a way to re route the cable around the side of the lamps. My problem with these is they sit too close to the back of my lamp because of where the base of the lamps and the USB C connector is. This is no fault of this adapter though. It is primarily a fault of where the USB C connector is on the lamp which should be 1 or 2 CM higher to make this work better. I just dont want to be buying another adapter to make a maze of connectors on my lamp to tidy the cable around the side of the lamp.

Does what it says but don't expect high speed throughout to be maintained.

Say goodbye to damaged cables with these Adapters. Great product and a really good fit into the iPhone 15Pro with the Apple Silicon Phone case.

Just what I needed

Excellent, second purchase. Have found on many previous tablets the first thing 'to go' is the c port. These sit nicely in the port, are unobstructed and remain attached, so no further wear to port as when recharging you are plugging into this gadget. They are very reasonably priced, I wouldn't buy another unit with a c port without having one of these.

UPDATE: Today my WiFi started playing up. It sounds bizarre, but it was down to these adapters. CalDigit plugged via one, Studio Display via the other. If I had one or the other disconnected, everything was OK. Both connected, WiFi intermittent/packet loss. I've no idea why, but my extensive troubleshooting narrowed it down to these devices, so I have changed my review to one star, as something must've failed. I'm using these in my desk setup, one on each side of my MacBook pro, connecting to my Studio Display and a Thunderbolt dock. They work without issue, and really help keep the desk look tidy instead of wires sticking out the sides of the laptop. Just one thing to bear in mind - their design means that they can (and on a Mac, will) block ports. So on the Mac these block the MagSafe socket on one side and HDMI on the other. Not a problem in my set up, but I hadn't thought about it in advance that this would be the case, so just keep it in mind!

Type C might be the end all be all, unless it unplugs (when you need it) or breaks off inside your laptop or worse. Unfortunately the cable gods decided not to end their cables in this orientation but China to the rescue. I tape them on to my cable ends. Every one of this type adapter passed. Some have built in charging indicators. Highly recommended for laptop hubs, USB mixers, and chargers.
