Finish This Book: Keri Smith

After buying Keri Smith's 'Wreck this journal' a while back, I decided to get another of her books. I decided on this one, and it is better than I expected! It is FULL of pages and pages and pages of things to do, I'm not even a quarter of the way through it! Although I bought this for myself, I'm sure it would make a good present for people of all ages :) So, if you're looking for a book to keep you busy, pick this one!! This also arrived really fast, I think it only took a day or two.

my book arrived this morning, and I am looking forward to finishing this book ! looks intriguing and gives you chance to be creative decisive and inquisitive. I have read about Keri's books before, and think this type of book is helpful if you are finding yourself and indeed your career path and when making decisions about your future plans and of course the book is fun to complete ! so glad I purchased it .will write again as I complete the book ! id recommend this book to you as well as other books in the Keri smith series .

I like the concept of this book, which is why I bought it for my daughter. However, she didn't "Finish this book". That's probably more to do with her being inherently lazy than anything else though and bears no reflection on the quality of the book or its author.

I brought this as a gift for a friend and she absolutely love it! I also took a look through it and found it to be delightful. It's a thick book and well worth the price. It's certainly a very interesting book to receive and a great present for anyone that's creative.

We haven’t read this yet as it’s a gift for my daughter (12). I did have a flick through and she will love being creative as well as reading this. Think it’s a nice idea and motivation for a child with Dyslexia. Would recommend

Very fun book. I just need to buy some colouring pencils and other things so I can make it look really nice. It makes you want to be active with it and put effort into it.

I bought this book a year ago as I liked the idea of solving a mystery by examining the world around me, which is what the book promises. I'm not sure what I expected but I don't think this was it. It's sat on my shelf for a year and although I occasionally think "now is the right time to start it", after flicking through a few pages, I think, I can't really be bothered to look for different colours on the ground, research famous sleuths, describe a photo of an old lady, wear a paper moustache, guess what happened to page 6, create a secret den for myself, and so on. I'm a grown woman. The old adage "don't judge a book by its cover" seems applicable here: the cover and its description led me to think this was a book for creative and curious adults, but after closer inspection of actually buying the book, I think it's ideally suited to children aged 5-10, who like to build dens and have secret clubs. I'll have onto it and i reckon my son will enjoy playing with it in his treehouse in a couple of years, but I don't think it's a book for me, sadly.

I bought this for my niece's birthday and she loves it. She wasn't sure what to do with it at first (she is 11) but good old nan stepped in and they work on it together every week. Encourages lateral thinking and creativity. Something a bit different from the standard 21st century technology kids live on these days!
