Review: Absolutely Fantastic! - Here goes - this may be a long post but please persevere! This has to be the best litter system ever! I have, over the last 3/4 years spent hundreds on different litter systems for our Bengal, I even tried the automatic litter system at £130 and threw it away after only a couple of months. He refused to use anything other than a puppy training pad in a litter tray because of previous kidney-related health issues, and he was the first one to use this tray. He is now, after just a few weeks, properly litter-trained again. The system is so easy to use - I change the pads daily (I have 2 very large breed cats and 2 smaller breed cats) and the trays are washed out and litter completely changed once every 3-4 weeks. I had to clean out other trays/systems every 2/3 days previously. I will add though that I find the pads and pellets that come with the system very expensive. I use desertcart Basics pads at £9 for 40 (the refills for the system are a very costly £10 for 4) and there is very little difference in them. I also use a wood pellet (around £15 for a 30 litre bag) instead of the pellets that comes with the system (priced around £25 for a very small bag that will fill 1 litter tray once). Initially using the pads and litter provided, I found that after 3/4 days they stopped using the tray because they could smell the dirty litter. It does eventually dissolve but takes ages. The wood litter when wet turns to sawdust and falls through to the tray beneath and so every time they go to the toilet it is clean. Obviously poop is scooped when they do it, or as soon after as we can I would also say that you need an old paintbrush or similar to actually clean the seive tray as bits go tend to get stuck. It may seem an expensive system but honestly after the initial cost, and especially if you convert to the other pads and wood pellets, you will not look back. Review: Amazing mess free, filter system litter tray! - My sister in America told me about this cat litter system. It's absolutely amazing as (unbelievably) you hardly ever have to change the litter and as such it's both less hassle and way better for the environment (not to mention cheaper over time). The urine filters through the clay pellets into the tray below (I change the pad underneath twice weekly and the desertcart own brand pads cost approx 50p per unit). I flush the cat poo away and the pellets don't need throwing out like you would with normal cat litter. Wish I'd known about these earlier! ## Features - Causes serious eye damage. - Causes serious eye irritation. - Causes skin irritation. - May cause an allergic skin reaction. - May cause respiratory irritation. - One (1) Box - Purina Tidy Cats Starter Kit Cat Litter Box - All-in-one litter system is easy to maintain - Filtering litter pellets separate solid waste for easy removal - Anti-tracking litter pellets minimize messes around each litter box - International products have separate terms, are sold from abroad and may differ from local products, including fit, age ratings, and language of product, labeling or instructions. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001411SK0 | | Best Sellers Rank | 159,535 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) 1,549 in Cat Litter Boxes | | Brand | Purina Tidy Cats | | Brand Name | Purina Tidy Cats | | Capacity | 1.59 kg | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 17,614 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00070230127334 | | Item Form | Stick | | Item Type Name | Cat Litter System | | Item Weight | 4.26 kg | | Item form | Stick | | Item weight | 4.26 kg | | Manufacturer | Nestle Purina Pet | | Manufacturer Part Number | 070230127334 | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | 00070230127334 | | Number of Packs | 4 | | Package Size Name | Starter Kit | | Pet Type | Cat | | Scent | Unscented | | Scent Name | Unscented | | Target Species | Cat | | UPC | 070230127334 | | Unit Count | 1 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Purina Tidy Cats - **Capacity:** 1.59 kg - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00070230127334 - **Item form:** Stick - **Item weight:** 9.4 Pounds - **Material:** Plastic - **Package Size Name:** Starter Kit - **Scent:** Unscented - **UPC:** 070230127334 - **Unit count:** 1 count ## Images ![Litter Box System, BREEZE System Starter Kit Litter Box, Litter Pellets & Pads - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71uGaSffDWL.jpg) ![Litter Box System, BREEZE System Starter Kit Litter Box, Litter Pellets & Pads - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81RNZE2SKaL.jpg) ![Litter Box System, BREEZE System Starter Kit Litter Box, Litter Pellets & Pads - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81xQmTQTNEL.jpg) ![Litter Box System, BREEZE System Starter Kit Litter Box, Litter Pellets & Pads - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81yCxfEd6fL.jpg) ![Litter Box System, BREEZE System Starter Kit Litter Box, Litter Pellets & Pads - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71vdQIJqSbL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Customer Package Type, Size, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Used fresh paws pellet litter which was brilliant with this system but now cannot get it. Has anyone found a good replacement?** A: Just use cheap wood pellets, they are perfect and a large bag lasts over six months with 2 indoor cats **Q: Does anyone use Cheaper replacement pellets and if so please leave a link** A: We tried the proper ones that came with the kit, yep they do work well, we have 5 cats and 3 trays and they did last a month, I tested some to see what happens if you put them in water, they stay solid, so I tried washing them, they were fine but could not get rid of the smell so on to plan B, tried wood, you need the right ones, one that breaks down well when wet so it goes through, we found one of the Pet at Home ones worked perfectly and was only about £5 a bag, so far one bag has lasted over 4 months as you only waste the stuff they have weed on that falls through. For our other 2 trays we use a cheap clumping litter £1.79 a bag and this way works out even cheaper as we get through a bag a week of that. **Q: Can you use a plastic litter liner with this system?** A: You can put a plastic bag over the tray at the bottom, we pet sit and one of our customers uses bags and no pad, it worked ok, bit messier if you don't use the pad, they also used wood litter like as we do, you cant line the top tray as it would make this system pointless. **Q: How high is the front of the litter box, looking for on that’s no more than 10cms thanks** A: The front is approximately 5.5 inches. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Fantastic! *by M***E on 4 May 2021* Here goes - this may be a long post but please persevere! There is virtually no smell, it is easy to keep clean and the tray with the pads underneath helps to eliminate any odour, very rarely any litter tracked outside the box either. Definitely recommend! Only down side was the litter refills are not so easy to get hold of as no shops near me sell it and it is also fairly expensive. ## Frequently Bought Together - Purina Tidy Cats Litter Box System, BREEZE System Starter Kit Litter Box, Litter Pellets & Pads - Purina Tidy Cats Breeze Cat Litter Extra Strength Refill Bundle - Purina Tidy Cats Cat Litter Breeze Pads Refill Pack Multi Cat Litter Pads - 8 ct.
