so i work on steam heated industrial washers and dryers and got fed up with ptfe tape being a pain to apply or it failing on the first week.. this stuff is easy to apply and sets almost right away ,can handle the high temps from steam and holds the joint perfectly.. and u can still remove the threaded joint and easy to clean off.. great on any compression olive fittings... its a little expensive but then so would having to restart the whole job a week later. its never failed to do the job..

I have struggled on and off for years with the occasional drip/leak from radiators. Never knowing if to give it another turn, or ten of ptfe tape. Or should I risk stripping the thread and tighten that nut up a bit more. After using this stuff it takes all that doubt away. Happy customer, happy me. Would like for it to be a bit cheaper if I had to give it a down side. Thats the only reason for 4 stars.

Absolutely brilliant, expensive but does the job so worth the expense

Takes the guess work out of sealing radiator tails.

Works quickly, have sealed up about half a dozen airline connectors (no leaks at all - compressor tank holds pressure for days where the joints with ptfe tape looked/sounded well sealed (no hissing) it would be empty in a few hours) , locked an outside tap in place where ptfe tape wouldn't seal unless the tap was at an odd angle, and dismantled and repaired a pressure washer foam lance with this stuff, truly amazing.

I have always used PTFE tape on radiator threads but this is easier and quicker to apply and so far after maybe 20 fittings has been 100% effective. It is quite expensive but if it saves the time fixing the occasional leak or getting a call back it is well worth it.
