Okidata Pro8432WT Color Printer

I purchased this printer in November and have had nothing but issues with it when it comes to the white toner. The other colors work just fine; but white toner was the ENTIRE reason for the purchase of this machine, as I can get the other colors through the customary use of of sumblimation printing or even HTV. The white toner has NEVER correctly married to a shirt. I've contacted customer service, and my sales rep, who told me she "may be going radio silent for a while, but she would get answers for me from the higher ups..." That was in March. It's now June, I have not heard one word from them. When I tried to return the machine, the sales rep told me that wasn't possible. I am using a MAC, and although this company claims to be MAC compatible, the TransferRIP software they developed specifically for this machine is not compatible with MAC OS. So, I went and dumped even more money into this endeavor by purchasing a brand new laptop that is compatible with the software, hoping that would solve my issue with the toner. No such luck. At that point I was frustrated beyond words, so I purchased airfare, hotel room, and tickets to the ISSA Trade Show in Atlantic City (closest trade show to where I live) so I could visit the OKI booth and finally get some answers. I brought a few of my shirts with me to show my results to the OKI reps, as well as several photos of all of the projects I've wasted money and time on with this printer. Nobody could provide any explanation as to why this product isn't delivering as promised. All in all, I've spent over $12,000 on this machine including the machine itself, replacement parts, toner drums, transfer paper (which runs $4 per 11x17 sheet), and trying several troubleshooting avenues. That total doesn't include the amount of money I've lost due to the fact that several shirts were completely ruined by this white toner disaster.

I am seeing the same problem with very unprofessional prints, especially the white. I too have ruined several sheet of transparency paper. I also have spent $1,2000.00 plus . I did not purchase on Amazon. Amazon is Great, the best. I am amazed too at the price of the paper. No profit to be made here.

The printer doesn’t deliver as promise, it is over priced. And the transfer paper is too expensive and poor customer service.
