I was looking for a steamdeck case and came across this one, which seemed to have very positive reviews. Glad to say that I concur with all the positives that have been said. It's a ingenious design, one that is multifunctional. It consists of a hard shell which the steamdeck securely sits in, and a top section which clips onto the back via a powerful magnet to provide all over protection when you want to store it away. All the important ports on the steamdeck are still accessible via cut outs in the case, and it feels comfortable too hold, not adding too much weight overall to the console. Overall I think this is one of the best cases I have ever brought for any console, and I've no real gripes to say about it. It's fairly difficult to get in and out of the hard shell, but it's designed so that you don't need to, so I don't consider it a gripe. I wouldn't imagine that it would be able to fit in a dock with the case attached so keep that in mind.

This case is PERFECT, it not only protects the entire deck and has a cover for protecting the screen and sticks but its literally as easy as pulling the front off and it snapping back on magnetically for taking on and off. Super easy to use, perfect fit and has lasted me for months and can see it will continue to do a solid job of protecting my device for years to come.

Fast delivery considering this came from the US to the UK (7days) The case is as advertised :) overall, really happy with the purchase Pros: - the cover offers solid protection and - fully covers the face of the steam deck with no gaps. - this new version of the flip cover now offers enough clearance for the thumb sticks - all the openings for the vents and ports are in the right places and provides enough clearance for cables to attach - this might a con for some, but the TPU case is a tight fit but once on, it feels really snug and nice to hold Cons: - maybe a nit-pick and seems to be a reoccurring theme for all their cases but the clip does not feel very secure, I find it "best" to hook the clip first then attach the magnetic clip to the case - the magnet strip could be stronger tbh

The case is good, not so bulky and the cover works well. Though, I wish the case has more grip. Also, you will not be able to use any thumbsticks cover when using the case’ cover.

This is a sturdy case that fits snuggly to the SteamDeck [SD] adding only a few mm to it's overall size. Comes in two parts - the tough rubber lower half covers the bottom and the sides of the SD, and provides access to the shoulder/bottom buttons, volume, power button and charging port. Use of the shoulder buttons will require a slightly different grip, but I am talking slightly and it felt perfectly natural again within minutes! The hard upper case has a magnetic hinge point where it snaps onto the bottom behind the SD and has a contoured surface which offers perfect protection for the thumbsticks without ugly corners or angles. The cover is fully detachable during play. My only gripe - and I'm stretching here - is that the upper cover obscures the small LED that shows when its charging, but hey! Folks, this IS the case to get. I've just been on holiday and threw my SD into my rucksack with my other junk and it was just fine. Five out of five.

Firstly this came in a paper bag from Amazon and it the lid was scuffed. Couldn't be bothered faffing about with a return and it's going to get marked regardless but still, up your game Amazon. I bought this as new and expected it to arrive as new. Okay so overall this is a very nice concept and allows you to conveniently protect the Deck's screen when storing it away and it's slim profile is also a bonus compared to the official zipped one. I love the materials used and the grip texture on the bottom makes it really comfortable to hold. A few things let it down though. Fit and finish isn't quite up to scratch and there's no way in hell the Deck slips in like shown in the video. You have the stretch the corners over the triggers. There's very little give. Moreover, the cut outs for the vent holes, aux port, power button, volume keys etc are misaligned. I'm not sure how they could have been so careless as to get this off? Also the shape of the shell could be more accurate and follow the contours of the Deck more closely. The lid also doesn't really latch on to the bottom lip convincingly. So much so that I find myself latching onto the lip before attaching the magnetic flap to the back of the Deck. You can literally just lift it so what is the point of the lip? A couple of other things - they made no consideration for thumbstick grips. Luckily the thinnest Skull & Co ones work perfectly without pressing down on the thumbsticks so I just swapped them over and the lip closes fine. I would feel more at ease if the magnets were on the lid strip rather than in the shell. I know it's not near the fan but still, better safe than sorry. Moreover I'm at a loss to explain why they did not include a pull out kickstand? I tried to be as thorough as I could with this review. Definitely a worthwhile purchase but could really do with more tweaking. I think you'd be satisfied despite its drawbacks, especially for the price. The lid sells it for me. Please release a revision taking into account the points I raised and perhaps in a few pastel colours to liven the Deck up - I don't like skins.

Great case I have been using it for months now and I am very happy with it

The best case to use for your Steam Deck if you don't want the hassle of bringing a case with you on your journey. It covers the important stuff like the screen and especially the analog thumbsticks.

Per quanto mi riguarda é la migliore custodia per Steam Deck, quella studiata meglio. Si tratta di una cover SLIM, si adatta bene allo Steam Deck, e sembra bella resistente. Ha poi una front cover magnetica che é possibile staccare/attaccare quando serve. Rende il Deck un po' più pesante, ma la precedente cover in silicone che utilizzavo era anche peggio. É perfetta per il trasporto senza andare a prendere spazio aggiuntivo come le altre custodie, e protegge molto bene le levette. É anche più bella da vedere rispetto alla foto promozionale. Unica nota negativa e che spero venga presa in considerazione per una possibile modifica futura: non é possibile tenerla in verticale se non con uno stand apposito separato. Io ho effettuato una modifica molto semplice e veloce... Dalla vecchia cover in silicone ho rimosso il suo piccolo stand/supporto richiudibile (dato che era estraibile), e l'ho incollato con dell'Attack nel retro di questa cover. Regge benissimo, e ora con questa piccola modifica é davvero perfetta, é proprio ciò che volevo per il mio Steam Deck! Pagata 18€, direi un prezzo assolutamente ragionevole.

Llevo usando esta funda más de año y medio, y es la mejor compra que he hecho para la SteamDeck. La protege 100% contra golpes por la zona de la pantalla, no molesta para nada al grip de la consola, e incluso a veces la uso para apoyarla y jugar con un mando de ps5. Lo que mas me gusta es la facilidad para retirar la tapa, ya que va con imán, y es muy fácil de quitar y poner. El imán tiene la potencia justa, nunca se va a caer la tapa por error, pero tampoco necesitas ser culturista para quitarla. Además, cabe perfectamente dentro del maletín que trae la SteamDeck, así que doble protección durante los viajes. Recomiendo esta funda 100%

Great case, makes it less bulky than the official Steam Deck case and easy to fit in a backpack. Love the quick ability to flip open the cover, play for a bit on a the train and then quickly close it for storage. Great product
