Very good sun hood for the DJI RC remote control. Comes on-off easily, while blocking the sun so I can safely see the screen in the sun. Also the protector protects the controller from drops.

Works really well. Once it is on, non-obtrusive and easy to open for access. Really protects the remote screen as well as the sticks. No need to take the thing apart to put it away. Simple. As long as you are little careful, should last a very long time.

This is actually a great idea as it protects the remote while in the case and gives you a nice sunshade when in use outdoors. It is a little flimsy, but I haven't had any real problems with it. You just need to treat it a little gingerly as the clip at the top will pop loose from the remote sometimes. I'm glad I bought it and I think the price was pretty fair. It did come very quickly and installs quickly and easily. I do recommend it as a good option and certainly seems to be a better option than the velcro style shades only the screen and has to be reapplied each time you take it out to fly.

This simple device does two things very well. It shades the screen of the controller from bight glare and makes it much easier to see. Next, it folds down and allows the thumb sticks to remain attached when storing the controller in a case. I recommend it.

I bought this for two purposes, primarily to be able to store the remote without removing the joysticks and secondarily as a sunshade. It has performed both functions well. In addition, it has minimal impacts on the remote control being able to fit inside of its case.

For the price, it’s a good product — you really can’t ask for much more. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. The plastic feels quite fragile; it would be better if it were thicker or more solid. Also, it wouldn’t have cost much to include some rubber washers for the mounting system, which would help protect the plastic from damage. Other than that, it works well and does what it’s supposed to do.

Overall this is great. Fit is very good. Easy to put on. Protects the screen and joysticks. Only thing that looks fragile is the hinge but have not had it long enough to see how it lasts. So far I like it.
