Airspun Loose Powder Translucent

I remember back in the late 60's and early 70's sneaking into my mom's make-up drawer in the bathroom to use this same powder. I have been using the original for years, and never really minded the smell since it goes away once applied. This is first time using the talc-free translucent formula. The smell is lighter- a bit citrus or lemon scent, but the coverage is what made the biggest impression. I am not wrinkly nor scarred, but habits of a lifetime of not wanting to be shiny or blotchy make me so happy this provides an even, matte and bright pearly finish. I have found the pads from the old container are much better than the sponge pads so I just wash them and reuse.... UPDATE: 6/19/25 for me this powder still looks beautiful, but I started noticing a grainy texture to my face and little hard bumps that I never had before, then followed by some painful red patches, that have persisted. I did a bit of research of discussions on this new formula with many preferring the original, and though I am still not sure it was this powder, it is the only thing in my simple make up process for decades that is different, and I'm not really liking other brands so I will be ordering the original formula.

This stuff smells like an old lady but I still buy it because it's simply the best powder out there. That should speak volumes on its own 🤣 The smell isn't strong and goes away over time, I promise. It's the BEST talc free powder out there, most of them leave you cakey and looking wrinkly even if you don't have any. I guess talc helps smooth you out, but somehow this one is great even without the talc. This leaves you smooth and soft matte, it's not a super drying matte and keeps your makeup in place. Personally I take out the plastic part that has holes in it so I can get more powder out at once. You can't beat the price either! Coty if you're reading this, PLEASE MAKE A SCENT FREE VERSION!!! 💕

This is THE BEST face powder! I’ve been using this powder since I was 14yrs old (I’m now 48) and will most likely still be using it until I’m well into my 80’s. It gives a nice, even coverage and lasts so long you don’t need to keep reapplying it.

I love this powder. I have oily skin and usually after an hour or 2 my makeup comes off but this lasted longer. I personally do like the smell. The only thing I don’t like is that when I went to take off the inner sticker the inside plastic part came off and I got some powder on my sink. It’s not sealed together like other powders I’m used to using. But overall I do like the product and love the price.

This is the OG, THE ORIGINAL HOLY GRAIL. there is a reason everyone's grandma's used this. It's worked throughout makeup history and only gotten better over time. I wish they had the old puff but for the price, I'm not complaining. Yes, it also smells like everyone's grandma's but again, FOR THAT PRICE, I am not complaining. Zero flashback or ashy looks and it works with hundreds of formulas. It will mattify any base you wear so if you're hoping to retain the dewy look, look elsewhere. I can't risk my makeup buffing because I have littles that are constantly touching my face. This with Ben nye's Final Seal *chef's kiss* your makeup won't budge. Again, the smell is STRONG but it's one flaw against it's many benefits. It's a yes from me

Amazing powder. The clerk at the store specifically complimented me on it today. It blends perfectly and is so LIGHT! I feel like I overdo it a little but still looks great. I am finally happy when I look into the bathroom mirror at work where its a fluorescent light and huge window and my makeup was an utter mess this has saves me.

Have used this for decades. Formerly in a cardboard container and my opinion is that the plastic will hold up better because one box lasts years. It truly is translucent or almost invisible. It dulls skin shine and camouflages blemishes slightly. Not suffocating like a liquid foundation.
