How firm is this pillow?

I do t think it’s firm. I would say it’s more soft due to the material used. However unlike most soft ones the pillow doesn’t lose its shape or give. We have had one for a couple of years and it still has the original shape.

Is it machine washable?

There's two parts to the pillow, the inner core and the outer shell. You SHOULD be putting a pillow case over the outer shell like a normal human. But the outer shell is washable so long as you remove the inner core. Inner core is latex foam, outer shell is a zippered case with the hex grid foam incased inside. Lastly to appreciate the purple pillow you truly need stretchy pillow cases, purple makes their own and I have to say they are as good as the pillow and without them, the pillow doesn't really shine, like your getting 50-75% of what the pillow actually offers.

Is there any off-gassing? Does it smell weird?

No, it's not a memory foam pillow, Purple Pilows aren't made from any off gassing materials. Purple uses a Latex foam core with latex hex grid over cotton outer layers. Latex doesn't off gas, hence why it's one of the few synthetic rubberized compounds used in the medical field.

Should stomach sleepers get the low profile regardless of body size since the distance from shoulder to neck wont matter too much, or does it matter?

I will say, yes. Just received my expensive pillow, low profile is still too high for me and it caused neck pain. Give up it. I replace it with newentor pillow which can adjustable height and gives me efficient neck & shoulder support. I wake up without neck pain since then.

Purple When are you Opening a store in the UK!! I need your mattress please!

One of the best pillows I have ever used. Never using memory foam again. If your a hot sleeper or keep flipping your pillow multiple times a night this is worth every penny. Great quality, very comfortable, wake up with no pain. I imported it into the uk and have been buying all the pillows and seat cushions for the last 8 years for the whole family. Very durable products. The ultimate in comfort and temperature regulator. I use the cushions in the office and sit for 10+ hours a day for years and they are still as good as new. Highly recommend any product from this company.

This is by far the best pillow I've ever had! It confirmed to neck in any sleep position. At first, I was worried it would feel flat and I'd need to mold it up but that was not the case at all. Laying on my side it was perfect. I also have a queen Purple bed and it feels the same way. Had it for 3 years and it's like new. Helps with back pain and sciatica pain. So glad I finally got the pillow even though it was a bit expensive it's worth it. UPDATE: I replaced the medium size and ordered the tall pillow. The medium is best for smaller frames or those who want a little flatness. I like my head a little higher especially when side-sleeping so the tall is perfect and conforms to shoulders, neck and head. Go ahead and try it!

I’m going to be honest when i was looking at reviews i was skeptical this wasn’t going to be comfortable. I thought the grids would’ve been intrusive, but the honest truth is, This is the best pillow I’ve ever used. The latex core they use is just a mold of your head and the weight resistance is just enough to keep your head from going flat down so it kind of just floats there in line with your spine whether your a back side or face sleeper. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a nice sleep. Just be warned it is a pricy pillow but for quality sleep I’d say it’s worth it!

Nice texture but too soft. Gives no support for your neck. Too much money for a pillow that doesn’t serve proper support. I feel like I’m not sleeping on much of a pillow. T.P. Ontario
