Best bronze clay I've used so far
Cool tools is a trusted brand. This metal clay performs very well in my kiln. I get reliable results.

Need a kiln
Received 1 bag . You cannot fire this with a torch , you must have a kiln . It was easily worked and shaped , but when torched it crumbles after it appears to be done. A torch will not provide enough heat for long enough . I couldn’t find this information before ordering … it’s provided in the info on how to use in the packaged product. Good product , I just don’t have a kiln .

Defective
No one in my jewelry studio was able to get this to work despite following directions exactly. It would form a metal crust, and the core would be very crumbly clay. You could always snap your creations in half with just your fingers.

Not really new user friendly
Not new user friendly, it’s only 1 pack, not 2, and you need a kiln. Don’t bother with a blow torch

Not for beginners
It took me several tries to fire it correctly with my analog kiln and getting coconut carbon stuck in the pieces. The clay air dries fast so you need to be already skillful with other clay to work fast even if you add water. After several mistakes and trials I did manage to get good results. But takes patience and practice. Silver clay is easier to work with but a lot more expensive. I’m happy with the results in general.

Fun to use
Used it all in a month mixed with silver clay, i don’t have a kiln just a torch so it was kind of hard to fire on its own but its really fun to work with will get more again.
